I understand this is a fan film but I mean cmon man. The guy clearly had some type of budget and it wall all spent of b roll footage. There's basically no plot. It's all establishing shots of the desert. Thumbs down for me.

Star wars mediocrity unleashed Warning: Spoilers
"Boba Fett Unleashed" is an American (very) short film from 2016 written and directed by Ramsey Eassa. Of course, this is a little tribute and fan film closely related to Star Wars, but even I as somebody who is far from an expert on the franchise immediately recognizes the name of the character Boba Fett immediately. Also this is one of these many many Lego-animated movies we got here. And again I must say I am generally not too big on them. So you could certainly say that this film had a hard time with me already before I started watching because the premise wasn't exactly mouthwatering from my very personal perspective. So I must say I was not convinced when these under five minutes eventually did not make an impact on me at all. I will not go a lot into detail about the story, but I felt that the bad guys here were more present and got more screen time than the good guys, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Just an observation. Overall, if you really dig both Lego animation and Star Wars, then this is maybe a good watch for you, although it could also be that then you will be more critical and actually dislike it even more. But it's not a failure and deserves to be checked out I guess, even if I found the camera work sub par here. Some production values did not look good at all admittedly, even if you could see Eassa put a lot of effort in here and with him also doing all the voice work, you could almost say it is something like a one-man show. Anyway, like I said he did not win me over and get me curious about his other works. He is actually pretty prolific and I see he really did a lot on Batman. Now lets not drift away too far though. This one here gets a thumbs-down from me. Not recommended.
