Dark and a little amusing, but not as sharp as needed
bob the moo2 June 2019
Someone with severe OCD prepares for her suicide, but 'putting her affairs in order' quickly becomes a much bigger task than expected.

There is an appeal to a dark comedy about mental illness, and it offers the potential to put several on the screen under the guise of entertainment. In this field it does the job reasonably well - not brilliantly, but well enough. It runs a bit too long for the joke (which is an extended one), but it is amusing and it is well done in the way that it does it with hardly a spoken word. The attention to detail in the writing helps it - for instance something like getting the correct date as part of a file name prevents it feeling like a broad dig at illness, but rather a well-observed in-side joke. In terms of commentary though, it doesn't add much to the conversation and I didn't particularly feel that it gave an opening for the casual viewer. In the end (pardon the pun) it was dark and amusing, but it didn't have the laughs, commentary, or teeth that it needed to make more of an impression.
