The third and final installment in the Scientist Saga, following The Waffle (2016) and Is Time Microwaveable? (2017).
Eliza Mlodzinski had a segment in the prank montage. The prank involved the Scientist slowing down time, placing a bag of mulch in front of her, and speeding up time again to have her trip over the bag. It was cut because it looked too awkward.
The scene where the Scientist buries the dead body was not in the script. Connor Ott thought of it while filming.
The music used in the final scene is the same music used in the first scene of The Waffle (2016), as if to bookend the trilogy.
