A much needed short-film on a topic that isn't spoken about enough!

Warning: Spoilers
It took me ages to find this underated short and since it's giving me the strength to speak up about my own on going story with vaginismus. I even reached out to Shelby herself and I hope more young girls and women in general do the same. It's so important to talk about these issues, specially because when you're going through something as intimate as this you feel completely alone and hopeless. As a young aspiring writer/filmmaker I hope to portray my story sometime soon as honestly and beautifully as Shelby did. I thank everyone involved in this film and Shelby for her bravery (because honestly there should be more audiovisual material out there about painful and all the problems related to this!). From a recent film graduates perspective I also want to point out that these types of taboo themes are much more complicated to explain through entertainment, making a short film about boy-meets-girl for example, is really easy if you think about it, but to make a film like this engaging when it can be a painful and even disturbing thing to portray - now that takes not just courage, but talent! True fan and I hope to offer another perspective next to "Tightly Wound" in the future.
