Prisoner of Art (2017)
*** 1/2 (out of 4)
This here is an entertaining, fourteen-minute interview with Franco Ferrini. In this featurette he discusses his work on Dario Argento's THE STENDHAL SYNDROME. What's so much fun about this interview with that Ferrini is quite honest with his stories and he doesn't try to hide his feelings. He talks about the original version of the movie and also goes into details with some of the issues he has with this. This includes the opening sequence, which he thought was too great to top and that the rest of the movie suffered. He talks about this happening in other Argento movies. He also talks about the original version that was going to be shot in America and why he was happy that it didn't happen. If you're a fan of the film then you'll certainly enjoy this interview as there are some great stories and we get some wonderful behind-the-scenes information.
