Although mostly enjoyable enough, as other reviewers have already noted the fixation with lake monsters - especially towards the end of the series - means that it comes off as pretty repetitive, and makes it feel like there's not much effort gone into uncovering the more interesting monsters said to lurk in the far corners of the globe. It's good to have on in the background when you're doing something else, as everything here has been covered (and in better ways) on other shows (MonsterQuest for example provides much better insight and a far wider range of critters). I'm giving this six stars, as it's still a better watch than the majority of these kinds of shows.

ENOUGH WITH THE LAKE MONSTERS ALREADY!

I watched this series on Tubi and overall I enjoyed it, despite Tubi's apparent policy of presenting episodes of every show completely out of order or mislabeled. But after a while I got incredibly tired of the lake monster episodes, and would skip until I found a landl-based cryptid.

The other reviewers are absolutely correct, the obsession with lake monsters is a serious flaw with this show. Those episodes are repetitive, uninteresting, and just plain dull.

I usually put a show like this on the TV for background noise, but even then I had to skip the lake monster episodes.

I really don't understand what the producers were thinking by packing the series with lesser Nessies.

Episodes missing

I'm watching this series on Tubi and so far there are two episodes not listed here. 13 is Normie and 14 is Jersey Devil. I would have given this a higher rating but the vast majority of the episodes are about lake monsters and that quickly got incredibly boring. They could have at least broken them up a bit.

IMDB is missing episodes.

Episode 1 was about the Jersey Devil. There was 2 episodes set in Australia about the Yowi and Tasmanian Tiger, and one about a Bigfoot in New Zealand.

Overall, a decent watch. Probably would never watch it again, but I skipped episodes about sea/lake monsters because after watching 2 or 3, how many more can you watch that are all the same thing?
