Painfully Boring.

I really wanted to like this movie, i know some talent behind the movie, and went in with open mind.

If i said that during the intermission i was thinking should i sit through the rest of movie or not, thinking of the money i paid, i thought might as well get through it.

It is very important and the only way you can think of making a movie is if you have a good script. And this was far from one.

The jokes didn't land for me, they seemed forceful and if any interesting joke that movie may have was already shown in its trailer.

The story is definitely a mess. In this age where we have seen so much content, this movie will hardly leave any memories and is instantly forgettable.

The only people having a laugh out loud moment were little teen girls in the cinema.

I expect a lot from this team and i hope they will turn things around.

If you wish to save your time and money, please let this one pass.

Somewhat disappointed, even though acting was quite impressive

Songs & acting were great but storyline really non existant and all over the place. Funny moments few and most of them were shown in trailer. Watched it with only a handful people in multiplex cinema in Alexandria, Virginia, usa on sat at 7:15 pm. There was not a single poster anywhere for it.

You are not missing anything if you haven't watched it

Within the first 10 mins the plot was clear. Let me explain it this way

A group of friends, in need of money, trying to score some big bucks, a mafia boss also trying to get them, friends win in the end, mafia boss/bad guy goes to jail, hero gets the girl and the money.

Sounds interesting? No. Because you have seen around a hundred such movies. Fukrey, Delhi Belly, C-Kompany, Hera Pheri, Dhol, Na Maloom Afraad to name a few.

Acting is pathetic, script is so weak it needs a drip of glucose, the jokes are so bad you will regret watching the movie. A few laughs are there but when a bad movie is 2.5 hours long then a total number of 5 good jokes are ignored. Watch it at your own risk

Waste of time and money

To all those who wish to watch this movie.. DONT! .. The movie kicks off in rather an interesting way with shots being fired.. Then the try to make it humorous but fail to crack the nuts. They have tried to highlight a social evil in a humorous way and have badly failed. The plot itself isn't that bad but the effort to punch in humour for no reason makes it pathetic. I was expecting mach mature acting from Ali Khan. However, "BHOLA" is cute and adorable. The only thing good about the movie is Hareem Farooq and the song "Billo Hai". Still if you have enough time and money to waste.. even then find other means of spending.

I am not even sure why they decided to turn such a serious problem in Pakistan into a comedy. I think it was not supposed to be a comedy in the first place. The movie was very poorly directed. Jokes were so bad that after 30 minutes of watching, I actually started to check emails on my phone to kill time. Waste of time and money.

Best movie with amazing actors and the team

A really good start of the year 2018 from Pakistani film industry with the movie Parchi. Amazing acting done by all the actors and has comedy that can be watched with the whole family and friends. Very impressive work done by the whole team of Parchi.

Idiotically entertaining. Will keep you laughing till the end!

Ok so here are my thoughts of this movie:

Overall, very entertaining from start to finish. Never got bored and enjoyed all the songs, colours, dialogues and original comedy.

That being said, the first half started off well, then got a little weird and lame and then picked up a lot after the intermission. I dislike how some dirty jokes were a part of the film (I honestly think those a too old-school and simply not funny). But, there was a lot of never-before-seen comedy that made me laugh my head off!

I do appreciate the powerful and bold role of women in this movie, not to mention the hilarious "mama"! But I cannot say that this type of role suited Hareem Farooq super well - though I did like her in the film overall.

Generally the acting was fine; pretty much what you would expect from a crazy comedy movie such as this one. And I like how there were twists in the story here and there. I also like how there was a variation between serious, comedy and romance.

Overall, an entertainment-packed film that the youth and families will love. The movie theatre was packed and everyone was constantly bursting with laughter! A great start to the year!

Funny and interesting

Lol. Definitely a very good movie. 7.7/10. All the characters and side characters were very good. The writing was on point and so the acting. The editing was very good which made the movie flow in a smooth manner and that kept it interesting. Jokes were also on one point. The first half was very good and the second half too.

Disappointed

Highly disappointed, was expecting something good as per its trailer. Poor dialogues, nothing funny , overacting. I couldn't even watch the whole movie and quit in between.

I think if I could, I would rate this 0.2/10. This movie was a complete JOKE. The plot was all over the place, they were trying to be funny but clearlyyyyyy FAILED. And the movie made no sense. Also, the characters names were dumb AF, "Zodiac, Biscuit, Wafer, Cancer". WTF?! SAVE. YOUR. MONEY!!!!!

Extremely disappointed. Waste of money and time!

Seriously flawed story, weak or absolutely no backbone, cheap humour and too many characters for no reason. Looked like the director was asleep the whole time and FORGOT to edit the movie before releasing it.

I was hoping Pakistani cinema to produce a good movie. After watching the trailer, I had average (if not high) expectations. But oh my.. Was I in shock! Some scenes were hilarious but then came the most bizarre jokes and cheap humour like "fart noises". You call those ridiculous dialogues "family friendly"?!! The ghundas in the movie were shown to be super dumb with no skills. Lol the real ghundas would be so mad after watching the movie.

The character "bhola" was so annoying and unnecessary and also derogatory. All other characters kept saying hes useless but still they would wake him up from his sleep to accompany them for everything. How stupid!

Ali Rehman was so full of himself throughout the movie! Like dude, your friends are helping you and you continue to insult them by saying they're doing nothing for you? And what was will all the emotional scenes for no reason? Stupid.

They also included a blind man when they went to loot a house. Like seriously? Is it suppose to make the viewers laugh? It was downright derogatory and extremely disappointing.

The whole movie consists of cool young actors and still somehow they do not know how young humans interact in real life. When Usman Mukhtar comes close to Hareem Farooq he says "kiss hojayegi" as if to show that its completely rational and acceptable for men in the society to have zero self control when they see a woman.

It is beyond me why Hareem Farooq would produce this movie when it is extremely insulting towards women! Also, HOW did Hareem and Ali Rehman fall in love during the movie when they barely had one-on-one scenes.

And the fighting scenes... ARE YOU GUYS KIDS PLAYING IN A PLAYGROUND??? Absurd and stupid!

They burst into songs with no flow. One scene they are standing still and next scene POOF comes a song. Regardless of all the flaws in the song theory and common sense, the only part that was actually entertaining was the song "Billo hai". This says a lot about the standard of parchi.

Cinematography,Songs and versatility of Every Character makes it Unique.If someone ask me what is the Big Difference between PARCHI and other Movies then It will Definitely say "Cheoreography and Art Direction in Songs " ....Especially Imagine which I must say is the most Unique song of Lollywood With such funky sets

Outstanding Movie From Pakistani Cinema

The best part of the film is that it doesn't drag at all. I was very impressed with Ali Rehman Khan and Hareem Farooq's acting. They've completely over shadowed the rest of the cast and its their film spot on! It amazing how a Pakistani film portrays a strong female character opposite so many gangsters.

Other than that, the songs are good, wish there were more, hopefully in Parchi 2 maybe? Parchi is by far one of the best films from Pakistan in a long time.

Awesome Comedy Movie 10 On 10

Movie is on a unique matter in Pakistan and very well performed by everyone. Songs are full of colours and nice words. I personally Love Imagine and I am listening that while writing that comment. Guys at least watch it Once and I guarantee you will watch it again Nice work Guys and I hope PARCHI 2 will come soon InshaAllah.

Tremendous Film, Realism at its best (Hollywood Standard)

MY Rating 10/10 !!!NO SPOILERS!!!

*Realism at its best I felt like watching any Hollywood Movie.

*Biased on Real-Life Situation of Karachi City back in 2013-2014 where gangsters was ruling the Karachi City.

*Comedy, Acting, Action, Dialogues, Direction, Script etc Everything was just Tremendous.

*All of the actor did great job but Personally I watched the Movie Because of "Ahmed ali Akbar" he did Tremendous Job in "laal kabootar Film", This Guy do movies like which have realisms biased Script and I can say Hollywood Standard so I liked his work he is good.

*If you liked "Karachi se lahore" "Lahore se Aghey" "Load Wedding" etc you will like the film.

It a family movie. its hilarious and everyone's acting is very good in it. The songs are absolutely amazing and it definitely is a MUST WATCH film.
