When Liv & Clive are in the car, Liv says she loves the song that just came on the radio. This keeps with the running gag that while on Benedetto's brain, she loves all things cop related. The song on the radio is a version of "Axel F," the theme song from the 1984 Eddie Murphy film "Beverly Hills Cop."
"Yipee Ki Brain, Motherscratcher! " is an allusion to the line "Yippee-ki-yay, motherf@%ker" said by Bruce Willis in Die Hard (1988), the first film in the franchise Liv and Ravi are bantering about when first examining Benedetto's body.
