Getting to know Judith.
Sleepin_Dragon9 July 2019
It's interesting how the story is developing, and how it's managing to be diverse and interesting, looking at different characters in depth.

So this one focused on Judith, and how she came to end up in her situation, and the story of her brief relationship with Sally.

It felt very different to the rest of the show, but it was still intriguing viewing nonetheless, finally Alex Kingston is given a chance to show off her acting skills, she is matched by the amazing Siobhan Finneran.

It wasn't the best episode so far, but it was still a very good watch. 7/10

A Broad Array of Con-Artists

Warning: Spoilers
The program's title "Poteza" may be translated as corruption, and this episode follows many strands of that theme.

The opening scene depicts the guilt-ridden major general, who was responsible for the terrorist act that brought down the plane in his own country, experiencing visions of the woman he sent to his death in carrying the laptop onto the plane.

The pious Ariel, who is flying to Kinchasa with Benson, confesses to his past sins of committing fraud with the clients he was counseling.

The kind Judith, who selflessly works on behalf of the downtrodden, decides to sell out, joining the corrupt major general in an alliance to fill her pocket and place her workers in danger in transporting contraband across the Rwandan border.

In turn, Judith is duped by Suvhein, a phony name for Sally, who cared for Judith's mother in hospice, prior to seducing Judith and conning her out of a fortune. The major general turns on her, ordering her murder.

The mercenary Pieter Bello meets his maker and reunites with his dearly departed brother after a life of violence and swindling. Georgia gets the drop on Pieter, shooting him after learning that Will is still alive.

Nearly everyone seems to be running a scam, as Georgia enters deeper into the heart of darkness. Poteza indeed!
