A Conversation with Martin Sheen (2010)

**** (out of 4)

This fifty-nine minute featurette has director Francis Ford Coppola sitting down with Martin Sheen as the two discuss everything around the 1979 film APOCALYPSE NOW.

If you're a fan of the film in question then you'll certainly love this sit down as its basically like two old friends getting together and discussing the movie. There's some really great stuff here as Coppola basically asks the questions including wanting to get Sheen's opinion on the story as well as the character. There's some great discussions about the production of the movie, working with Marlon Brando and his "ways" and of course Sheen's heart attack is discussed.

It's really too bad that more films don't get bonus features like this because it really is great getting to see the two men sit down together and have a conversation about the movie. There are some really great moments scattered throughout this with some wonderful stories. Various aspects of the production are covered so you're getting a lot of really good information here.
