Aging Sucks

The guys continue to spar and cajole and love each other. In this post funeral episode, things become a lot more strident. Kominsky is having trouble with his prostate and realizes his mortality in the day to day challenges. That's what this show is about. Our fragility and our realities. Nice work with Danny DeVito and also Ann Margret. The return of the wayward daughter puts another oar in the water as well.

Warning: Spoilers
I have thought it since the season premiere, but this episode really reinforced that this show is simply Two and a Half Men if Charlie and Alan were in their golden years.

The scene with the doctor was great, but very few scenes don't deliver. Netflix has something with this program.

Reunion with the little guy

You got Danny DeVito, one of Michael Douglas's best friends going back to the 1960's; acted in Douglas's classic production of Cuckoo's Nest; co-starred in both Romancing the Stone, its sequel Jewel of the Nile and then he directed Douglas and Kathleen Turner in War of the Roses... That out of the way, DeVito's a urologist and, well, you can't match the "Moon River" scene in Fletch so why even try, and DeVito tries pretty hard, but they have fun in the scene...

Going back having finished the series with Season Three; then rewatched Season Two now this season which is a reminder of how great the show was initially... This is a good episode, more than just filler, Arkin's druggie daughter's a main cast member (she becomes basically a cartoon version of herself by Season 3)...

Now maybe they should give Zack Norman a cameo, remember "LOOK AT THOSE SNAPPERS, WILL YA?"
