The title track of Dil Bechara has been shot entirely in a single, continuous take without any cuts. It was choreographed by Farah Khan who refused to accept any payment for her work.
The movie's trailer broke several records. It became the most-liked trailer on YouTube in 24 hours, beating records previously set by the trailers for Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). It is now the most-liked trailer on YouTube of all time with over 10 million likes, the only trailer to record double-digit likes on YouTube.
Sushant is seen wearing a NASA T-shirt in the movie and also jokes about of him being an astronaut. It was his dream to send 100 kids to NASA for workshops about which he posted on Twitter.
A Youtube comment highlights the intricacy of work in the song "Khulke Jeene Ka" featured on the soundtrack of Dil Bechara. The song opens with the male voice (that of Arijit Singh) giving lessons to the female about how to live life freely, all this while the simultaneous voice of the female lags behind by 0.5 second. By the end of the song, the female voice takes over the male voice by 0.5 second, symbolically representative of the fact that she's learnt how to live life. This entire scenario mirrors Manny's (Rajput) position and role in Kizzie's (Sanghi) life. Though there has been no official clarification of this, this fan theory is pretty intriguing.
The film's lead Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment on June 14, 2020, just about a month before the film's official release.
