The God's Eye was originally filmed as a short that was a part of a feature film titled Summerland. There were a series of short films and filmed within the same month all of which were connected by a bonfire party. At some point in a character's journey they had to appear at the Bonfire party either before, during, or after it occurred. Only three of the several filmmakers finished their films, however and the feature never came to fruition.
There were four nights of Bonfires to make sure every short film got he coverage that they needed. On average 50 wooden pallets per night were burned.
