I have just finished watching all 4 episodes of Tales of Phantasia. I haven't played the game so I am going to review this on its own terms.
The story starts at the castle when Cress's family and village is all burned down by the evil Dhaos. Mint and Cress go to another dimension or timeline (can't remember which one is it) to get reinforcements mean while Cester is left fighting Dhaos by himself.
Arche and Claus are then recruited to the team.
I have watched the English dub and I think this is really good. All though it is sad at the same time because of the truth behind Dhaos.
