The title comes from a passage from the story "The Color out of Space" by H.P. Lovecraft and part of the story is very freely inspired by this story.
Shooting took place in only 3 days.
The origin of the film was a short film, made during the post-production of Maleza (Bad Weed). Crimsaiz sent a message to Rubén Arnaiz telling him that they could make a movie instead of a short film.
This is officially the first project premiered by Rubén Arnaiz where the fictional company Bouden appears.
The movie was filmed without really having a definitive script. This was part of the experiment that the film meant for Rubén Arnaiz: shooting a movie with less than the minimum crew and rules, with improvisations and without a definitive script. That is, filming in the "unusual" way how a movie should be filmed.
