After the first 2 episodes I thought this season was really picking up steam, but then episode 3 came. A lot of bark but no bite. Sides are being chosen and threats made, but that's really it. It's kind of like the same old thing with the Dutton's each episode. Kelly Riley is actually quite annoying. I get her character is supposed to be revolting, but something about her that makes me lose interest each scene she is in and I actually like her in everything else she does. Anyway, I'll take it as a set up episode of what's to come because I really enjoy the show and most of the characters. I think next episode will come together nicely.

The Reek of Desperation

Warning: Spoilers
Neal McDonough's character can certainly shake things up on the landscape, but it was just a bit too slow-moving here.
The dinner scene at the end with the laughing was too poorly acted for it to be effective in the manner the writers were hoping.

I will always watch if he is here!

I have liked and disliked Neil for years but he is so someone that I will hooked on.
Great job Yellowstone.
I have been binge watching this for the last few days ... yes, In Canada, I have to wait five years for it to be on free TV. But it was worth the wait. This is only season 2 and I look forward to the rest of the seasons. Besides the usual regulars, the indigenous professor keeps getting better and stronger.
I don't know I will get to watch more episodes but I know I will be watching, for better or for worse.
And it is a relief to see Kevin Costner in a success, not a failure. (yeah, in a cowboy hat too)

Best one so far

This was truly an episode for people who like quality acting.
So many beautiful scenes.
John and lynell cuddling talking about lost love.
Beth and Jamie talking of desperation.
Becker brothers bullying the real estate developer.
Rip and Beth talking about loyalty.
All great dialogues peak of the series so far.
Wendy moniz and Kevin Costner play so well off each other. She is the essence of beauty and elegance.
John is the classic bad patriarch does it all for family and on the road there destroys their lives and achieves the opposite.
I actually like Beth better as a cold sniper than as a wrecking ball as she was on season one.
