Damn well coordinated!

Warning: Spoilers
This series just keep climbing. In this episode we meet the two siblings, now 17 years old, and how they have adjusted to a world were everyone else is blind except those two. And just like any teenager, they rebel and do things their way.

I live how the series still amazes me with the incredible coordinations between all the actors. And the fighting scene at the end is just one of the best I've ever seen. Great job!!

Jason Momoa!!

Warning: Spoilers
Oh my God! The scene where Baba Voss kills the slavers! Horrifying! So well done. Like a dance. A poetic dance. Jason Momoa is just beautiful to watch. You feel all his anger, love, fierceness, protectiveness, rage at what he has to become again all while he does this dance of death. Great scene! I appreciate the art of it. Jason Momoa makes the show! You cannot take your eyes off him in each episode, in each scene!

Now that's how you keep a series moving in the right direction. So far so good-no spoilers, let's just say Mr. Mamoa is a Bad Mutha !!!

4 out of 5 stars.

The episode continues to be strong with its storytelling. The cast is great. The direction and script is sharp. The episode does have a brutal fight sequence with Jason Momoa. That will leave you with a wow reaction.

Something bigger is coming.
deepakdst11 November 2019
After seeing the main two characters carefully, it is clear that something bigger will come which will not even separate but make them stand against each other. Haniwa is heading towards a dark future and it seems like she will be the main highlight of the coming episodes. The skills of Baba Voss are really worthy of admiring and it would be the best if he remains a main part of this series till the end.

This episode was breathtaking! I can't fault it and strongly urge you to IGNORE all the negative reviews! If you only watch one episode, watch this one for the fight scene alone!

Seriously
heaze10 November 2019
How does someone who can see get captured by blind men. Climb a tree , throw a rock, run. You should be able to see them coming from miles away. Unless there blind ninjas I guess that can maneuver around holes, rocks, sticks, leaves without making a single sound. I can see 20/20 and I still make noise in the forest.

Their story strarts to burn!

Warning: Spoilers
This episode surely is mush better than the first couple. We learn more about Baba and his dark past. The twins have grown into formidable young adults. The Witchhunters are at the doorstep and cannot wait for the next confrontation. The acting has been superb and it is nice to see Nesta Cooper again. She was a badass in Travelers abd is doing it again here.

Phenomenal anthropological fantasy Warning: Spoilers
I have never seen such a well delivered anthropological fantasy. The intensity of personal sightless engagement breaking personal space, to the outrageously raised blind social rituals. Imaginative Social anthropology. Never seen anything like it. And the samurai balletic brutal fight... Awesome. Anyone who doesn't like this show is simply unimaginative, stuck in Western culture and standard fantasy tropes. By far the most remarkable rendition of native fantasy I've ever seen. By a mile. Yes, one had to put up with adolescente stupidity, I mean "watch out!" Bloopers like that push the credibility that the kids would get to 17. But, hey, I get annoyed with most adolescente tosh. Super intense show, deserves good quality audience. Well done to Apple for taking this on.

The most beautiful sets I've ever seen on a show, and the acting unbelievable
moviesfilmsreviewsinc20 October 2022
One of the key components of any fantasy series comes from the world-building. Whether it be a rich history of lore to draw on like Game Of Thrones or a sprawling map full of different regions and ideas like Shannara, fantasy fiction lives or dies by its depth. On the surface, See is a glossy, polished production with some stunning visuals but under this facade, the show lacks logic and these slower episodes have really brought this to the foreground. Episode 3 of See begins with the Witchfinder General heading back to base where he bows before the Queen, telling her his time of duty is now done. After relaying messages about Jerlamarel to her, she gives him permission to kill himself after failing his mission. Out in the wild, Haniwa goes hunting with Baba Voss where she tells him about bombs and other weapons. He's never heard of this though and it seems in a few hundred years, metallic weapons are all but gone from the world. We also learn they're in America and as Haniwa and Kofun discuss a possible route to travel together, back at the village a fatality sees Paris implore them to head out into the world. After a ritualistic dance with the tribe, it turns out they're actually slavers and as the group wake up in the morning, they learn that some of the young from their tribe have been taken. Haniwa rushes into Baba Voss' tent and tells him what's happened but unfortunately Kofun has been taken too. As the group head out, Kofun is marched through the desolate ruins of a city, while Haniwa and the others head off in search of him. He leaves them a written message to follow while we find the slaves have been marched into the remains of of a building. Baba Voss and the others make it to their location where he implores Haniwa not to follow, promising to bring Kofun back himself alone. With a guard held up at knife-point, Baba Voss heads in and kills the man before using his senses to kill the rest of the guards in the room. He effortlessly slices their necks before coming face to face with the one in charge, Bech. After a brief fight, Baba Voss gets the upper-hand and kills him. However, a solitary rogue guard charges at him but Baba is saved by Haniwa at the last second who fires an arrow into his neck. With more action to come and a big cliffhanger at the end, See leaves things wide open but those looking for a suitable Game Of Thrones replacement (early seasons, not season 8 of course) are unlikely to fill that void with Apple's new show. Still, there's enough here to make for an enjoyable watch nonetheless, even if the show is full of inconsistent and illogical plot beats.

Beautiful sets/actors in an quite unbelievable story
sterhill-129 January 2020
A story can be set anywhere in time or space with all kinds of premises but the story has to support those premises. A population that is blind? And goes to war with each other? First you say WHY and then you say HOW?

I am amazed at how much money Apple must have thrown at this. And I am even more amazed that people watch AND give all these 10 star reviews. I can only think they are being paid for their reviews. Only that makes any sense.

I guess I am angry, yeah, because with just a little shift in the story this could have been magnificent. The sets, the clothes, the actors, the cinematography are so incredibly wonderful and the story is so very, very unbelievable.
