Awesome.

4 out of 5 stars.

Another good episode. With an amazing well done fight sequence with Jason Momoa leading his people to safety while on a raft. Fighting against the bad guys in the river. The direction and cinematography is great. And worth watching.

Seriously the dialogue in this episode is absolutely unreal, I really enjoyed watching this remarkable episode. The river scene was completely breathtaking, I felt like I'm watching a horror film, the show is good so far and I hope it continues this way

It is mind blowing how they manage to keep on delivering such a amazing show.

I do like how they manage to kill off semi important characters. And the ending was just amazing. Really look forward to the next episode.

Speechless and we need more shows like this

In terms of episodic content, aside from an early skirmish and whispers of betrayal for the Queen, there really isn't a whole lot else going on here. As the group continue on their journey, a plot twist at the end certainly poses some interesting questions going forward regarding the direction of the plot which should be enough top keep you hanging around to see where this one goes.episode 4 of See back at the village, with the Witchfinder General arriving and offering the villagers a trade - in exchange for their lives, he asks them to give up the children. However, Baba Voss and the others flee down to the shoreline where it turns out he's built a boat in preparation for this very moment. As dog barks echo in the air, the soldiers make it to the shoreline, thanks to Gerther's tip-off, but find nothing. Sensing them nearby, the Witchfinder General tells them to give up and the entire village will live. When they receive no reply, the soldiers creep through the water while Baba Voss heads out and slices one of their necks. A fight breaks out as the boat drifts down the river, ending with Haniwa striking Gerther in the chest from afar. Angry, the Witchfinder General commands the soldiers to kill all the villagers and eliminate the tribe, before finishing the job and killing Gerther himself. Meanwhile, Queen Kane comes under fire from her advisors as they question her rule and what she's doing. In the darkness, a few rebellious people plot to assassinate the Queen. In the throne room, thia plan is put to the test, as the Queen is tricked into holding a deadly spider while told it's actually a bird. Wise to these games, she grabs the old lady and kills her, while the other traitor is killed too. Out on the tranquil waters, the group contemplate whether to move away permanently, as Maghra pleads her case with them to leave and go quietly into the night. Haniwa and Kofun refuse though and after democratically voting, they continue on the trail of Jerlamarel. Aside from the attempted assassination and the group slipping away from the Witchfinder General, there isn't a whole lot else going on here. Seeing more of our technology play into this futuristic world only raises further questions about the exclusion of guns and advanced weaponry, while the quest for Jerlamarel is interesting but sees little development beyond moving a bit further up the river.

Maghra's secret?
banuyilmaz71413 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Is it just me or the reviews are a bit too shiny?? Anyways cool episode, could have been more action scenes in the river like the beginning of the episode 1. Those are still the favourite.

I think Maghra ise Queen Kane's sister. Everybody said that Jerlamarel killed Queen's sister but I think he did something else. The stolen item of Maghra, probably about her monarch rights since it's inhereted from the father. Also we whitnessed Maghra's wisdom a few times, especially in this episode. Now that her sister gone, she may be quite a good ruler.

I like the show.

Warning: Spoilers
Since i think some of the reviews are payed promotions ill just put a 6 score to equal it out. And i just wanted to say. When Baba Voos says "... and because of it we will live to see tomorrow" had me rolling from the irony. Anyway. A real good show so far. A lot of things to improve but not everything can be perfect.

They have eyes, but see not.

Warning: Spoilers
Although this episode had an awesome fight scene with Jason, it was very frustrating to watch the characters and group make exceedingly stupid decisions. The editors should have omitted the scene of the raft travelling by a series of islands, before they decided to stop and rest for night. When one knows they are being pursued by a small army travelling by land, why would they land on the shore, when there was multiple small islands for them to safely land on and remain out of sight and out of reach? Every scene and event was much too predictable for me to enjoy this episode as much as I have previous ones.

I cannot see season 2
mrjdarcher15 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
When hunting for them, why don't they start fighting with each other. It was a great concept. But the other thing if she is a princess, why didn't just stop the witch hunter at the start?

I think this series will just die off in the end.

Sloppy writing
jamiesizzle7 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
They should invest in a script editor. If you want the job see if you can spot contradiction Lady An says "My net man heard it singing in an apple trees and managed to trap it." Lord Dune later says "This particular bird only sings when you take it in your hand. Yours will be the first hand to hold it." fix : "and of course it sings in apple tree branches too, no doubt." I mean I don't pick on them for failing to be accurate in their depiction a society that evolves without sight but they should at least be able to stay in the lane they drew for themselves.

Problems in scripts
tahabasri29 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
With these types of stories, more attention is required for more coherent scripts. When jumping to the boat, baba voss tells his wife that because he prepared for that day (by building a boat), they will live to see tomorrow, it would be more suitable to say that they will survive to live tomorrow instead. Just saying.
