Han shot first

Warning: Spoilers
Why I'm the world would you change the nature of Han's character? And Jabba's?? Seriously disappointed in Lucas for putting this out there. I will never watch this version again, I don't care how good the effects look. Han shot first and anything other than that changes his story and character. And Jabba acting submissive and caring about Han just doesn't fit at all.

I think there was only one scene that I actually thought was better than original and that's when Han runs away from the stormtroopers suddenly in a fight scene. In this version you he runs into a whole troop of them instead of just the few the original shows.

Overall, thanks for nothing, George!

Nothing too much worth seeing

Warning: Spoilers
Well there's fashion shows, game shows, music videos etc. in this "movie database", so why not deleted scenes? "Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope - Deleted Scenes" is as the title already gives away a collection of deleted/alternate scenes for the 1977 movie that was released under the name "Star Wars", brief and spot-on, but as the franchise turned into what it is today they changed it to the title you can read in this add-on's title we have here. It runs for 8.5 minutes I think. I am not 100% sure that this is exactly what I was looking for, namely what is included on "Star Wars: The Complete Saga Blu-Ray". Feel free to let me know if there's more than these under 9 minutes. As for the scenes in detail here, nothing too spectacular is included. It is a good watch for very big Star Wars fans, but nothing that will really get you interested in the franchise or first movie that started it all and was also probably the most successful with awards bodies being the only one that had a chance to win Best Picture at the Oscars, even if it came short eventually. Many of the scenes here feature Luke Skywalker and that is alright, most of them outside. I did not remember him to be that handsome. Then there is breif scenes involving Darth Vader as well as an old lady making a drink that are certainly more forgettable than Luke's interactions with Biggs here for example. Still at the very end, we have Biggs (who is feature prominently here (and the actor is also still alive) ramble on about how great of a pilot Luke seems to be. Well I am still not really buying it. To me he seems more of a boy still. Anyway, that is just my opinion. Like I said nothing from these deleted scenes really could have made the actual movie better I guess, probably not really worse either, but I think this is okay for everybody who loves Star Wars enough to buy the Blu-ray, but everybody else can skip it. I give these scenes a thumbs-down overall. Some were okay, but some were also really completely forgettable where even 2 out of 5 would be too much. Overall, it seems to be an accurate measure. Watch something else instead.
