Residents in some flats are being harassed. The target seems to be Danny Lal an Asian man. Danny also runs a pirate radio station.

The incidents leave a single mother Lisanne Archer severely stressed.

Danny's sister Sharon is having an affair with a married solicitor Phillip McLean who helps out with the charitable group she works for.

Phillip is found dead, thought to be suicide. Later Lisanne is found dead also regarded as a suicide. Her husband who is in prison escapes and goes looking for those responsible for her death.

With all this going on, Barr a solicitor who worked with Philip McLean acts very suspiciously. However he was at a a football match when Philip was killed.

I found the first two episodes to take a while to get going. I was thinking where Barr's character was going. He seemed to be troubled and I looked like a red herring.

I did think this was a story that could had been done in two part. It was only in the finale that the pieces fell together when a property developer was fleshed out and there is a tense conclusion. There was an element of the story where Micheal Caine's character in The Prestige would had explained to you in no time.

Sandy McDade who plays Lisanne Archer really was good. I was on the verge of calling social services myself given how desperate she looked.

Barr was an early role for Jason Isaacs, an actor who has found success in movies and television in both sides of the Atlantic.
