We see the backstory behind what happened before she suicided. The new neighbours move in and she does not fit in with them. The woman who passed went to go find her son and found him in his boxers on top of their housekeeper names Ga-eul. He tells his mom that he was forced to study everyday since he was 7. It was a living hell. Now he wants to do what he wants to do.
