Maureen reports that they are separating at a rate of 40 arc minutes per second. This is a measure of geometry, not speed. Space flight, even in orbit (or in atmosphere) would measure distance over time by meters per second, not the geometric measure of a portion of a curve.
About four minutes in, Maureen is telling her hubby, John, that they should be done after one orbit of the gas giant. He says (paraphrasing), that on Earth that's about 92 minutes, so for this planet "about an hour - give or take." If it takes 92 minutes to orbit Earth, it would take significantly more time to orbit a gas giant (especially considering how close they are), not less.
