Nia Nal : Brainy, I know it's my destiny to have these powers. But I'm still grieving, Brainy. My mother passed away so suddenly.
Querl Dox : Have you ever considered putting your grief into tiny boxes?
Nia Nal : That doesn't sound very healthy.
Querl Dox : [insulted] It could be. Besides, then it would free you up to train and-and then join mine and Supergirl's crime-fighting family.
Nia Nal : I would love to join your family someday. But I'm just not ready to train right now.

Kara Danvers : [followed Nia into her bedroom] You okay?
Nia Nal : Yeah, come in.

Kara Danvers : You're gonna get through this, you know.
[sits down next to Nia]
Kara Danvers : Just go easy on yourself. And you have me.
Nia Nal : You don't know how much I appreciate that.
Kara Danvers : Just... think about how much your mother loved you... and what she would have wanted for you... and try to honor that.
Nia Nal : [exhales] She would want me to dream.
[Kara nods]
Nia Nal : But my sister...
Kara Danvers : You can't let her stop you from embracing your destiny. I hid who I was for far too long because of my family. Even Alex... didn't think it was a good idea at first.
Nia Nal : At least now she knows everything and support you.
Kara Danvers : Actually, um... Alex doesn't know I'm Supergirl anymore. She had her mind wiped. To protect her.
[Nia's hand brushes her arm]
Kara Danvers : Yeah. But I... I can't let that stop me from helping the people that need my help, and doing the... good that I can do. And you could do a lot of good, too.
[a chuckle in her voice:]
Kara Danvers : You're part of my family now.
[as she walks out:]
Kara Danvers : And all heroes are welcome.
