A good one time watch movie - (5.6)
sujith789_reviews20 December 2019
  • Watched in Prime Video.
  • Movie shows about the struggles faced by Anson Paul and family. At some point of the movie can notice the shades from movie Pursuit of happiness.
  • This is a simple movie, but movie has some elements which makes us glued to the seat.
  • This is not a super hero movie, but a movie with simple story.
  • Acting is okayish.
  • Final Score - (5.6). A simple good one time watch movie.

Had potential

Had potential But director added so much mess and twists into the movie towards the end I guess the last 40 min. Lost interest along the way.

One-Line Review: The Gambler / Extremely Dull Drama / 2 Stars
nairtejas16 May 2020
The Gambler, a drama masquerading as a superhero film just because a kid dreams a couple of sequences where his dad (Anson Paul) plays a card-throwing superhero, is top-notch in its capability to put its viewers to sleep thanks to its aimless plot, a lethargic central character (and the actor), and an overall dull atmosphere all of which should be blamed on director Tom Emmatty's empty vision. TN.

PS: The IO! Card Game that the film advertises is nowhere to be found.

ANSON PAUL'S CAREER BEST PERFORMANCE
johnbonny02324 May 2019
After Abrahamintey Sandathikal Anson Paul is back in action as Anson, a young husband in his new family drama with a superhero element, a fun filled game for kids.
