Good content, overshadowed by background music and noise

This is very informative and has the potential to be one of the best documentaries I've watched on WWII... but the background music and noise over shadows the content and information being relayed. It's overwhelming because you get lost in it. The only disappointment I have in this documentary, but it is significant when it's that overwhelming. I had to stop watching because it's so distracting. A sound edit is much needed for sure.

Great footage, but unlistenable

The narration of interesting quotes by figures of the time is almost entirely smothered by loud music and ambient sounds. I hope the sound editor was shot.

It is 13 episodes, and I think this may have been made for broadcast TV, but it could've been six episodes and done the same thing it did in 13. It's great from a historical point of view compartmentalizing the subject and the Party

I'd love to find a place outside of tubi to watch it because the incessant commercials get on my nerves.

Did thet watch it before releasing?

As another has said, the audio is just horrible. Hard to imagine they released it this way. Cant hear the narrater unless there is no music or atmosphere audio snippets.

Too bad, i liked everything else but had to abandon after first episode. Its like trying to watch and listen to a tv in a crowded bar.
