Jeopardy! host Mayim Bialik got a taste of the paranormal with the latest guest on her podcast Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown as Jack Osbourne joined her on the mics. The pair discussed a variety of topics, including the supernatural as Osbourne was there to promote his podcast, Ghosts & Grit. While he may be known as Ozzy Osbourne‘s son and former star of The Osbournes, Jack has found a new TV life with spooky reality shows ranging from Portals to Hell to his Night of Terror specials. As the conversation flowed, Bialik got candid about being spooked by ghost stories, and although she’s a scientist, she admits that being a “person of faith,” makes her believe in such phenomena. “Have you always been into the paranormal?” she asked Osbourne bluntly. “Queer Eye” has its “Fab Five” and the crew of Hulu’s “Living for the Dead” ghost-hunting show have nicknamed themselves the “Spooky Bitches,” co-executive producer Rena Lombardo of Scout Productions told TheWrap ahead of Wednesday’s series premiere.
The paranormal show is from executive producer Kristen Stewart, who brought the idea for the series to Scout with her friend C.J. Romero, who also serves as an e.p.
Described as a sort of “gay Scooby-Doo,” it was a natural fit for Scout Productions, whose shows include Netflix’s “Queer Eye” and HBO series “Legendary.” In each episode, the cast visits notoriously haunted locations around the country and commune with both the the dead and the people whose lives have been disrupted by the ghostly happenings.
Assembling the team of experts once the show was picked up was a “magical” process for Lombardo. The five-member team is comprised of tarot card reader Ken Boggle,...

Though the word “paranormal” generally refers to phenomena not currently explainable by science, when it comes to paranormal television as a genre, it is strictly defined. There are formulas, patterns, even rules, necessitated by network needs for consistency to keep the audience coming back. But within the scope of their YouTube series Travel the Dead, veteran paranormal investigators and television personalities Katrina Weidman and Heather Taddy are asking if there’s a different way.
Weidman and Taddy both emerged on the television scene in 2007 with A&e’s Paranormal State, one of the early successes in the investigative style format, which lasted five seasons. The two became fast friends on the show, and since then, have gone on to appear on numerous series between them. Weidman continued as host of Real Fear: The Truth Behind the Movies, Paranormal Lockdown, and Portals to Hell, where she’s also an executive producer.

Jack Osbourne, who discovery+ fans are accustomed to seeing hunting for ghosts and, most recently, Bigfoot, has taken on a new mission in his latest two-hour special – investigating an infamous paranormal hotspot where UFOs frequent, animal mutilation has been documented and, oh yeah, there’ve been reports of alien abduction.
But what Osbourne ends up seeing – and catching on camera – goes above and beyond his wildest expectations and leaves him saying, “We came here looking for UFOs and ended up finding ‘other things.’”
In “Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror: UFOs,” the “Portals to Hell” star teams up with a couple of his actor friends, Jason Mewes and Jamie Kennedy, with the trio heading off to Utah’s Uinta Basin, where the notoriously creepy and mysterious Skinwalker Ranch sits. The area has long been known for its otherworldly – and unexplainable – activity. In recent years, residents of the area have reported...

Growing up in the Philadelphia suburbs, class trips to historic Fort Mifflin were as common as they were kind of boring. These days, however, the stronghold that sits on the Delaware River is considered one of the most haunted places in town. So I was all in when Portals to Hell hosts Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman invited me for a tour of the grounds while their crews set up to film the May 7 episode. “There were about 150 Colonial Americans killed here,” Osbourne told me, explaining how Washington’s troops were “decimated” during a British naval attack. And some of them are apparently still hanging around. As we walked through a few of the more active areas, Weidman shared ghost stories. Guests have reported “seeing glowing eyes and shifting shadows” in the windowless, very unsettling armory where we stood. Recently, students visiting from a local school for the blind all...

“This place is f—ing scary,” Jack Osbourne, the veteran paranormal investigator (and youngest member of the coolest family Ever) said after just a few minutes in the Hill View Manor – a shuttered nursing home where former patients are rumored to live on after death, and the location of the Season 3 opener of “Portals to Hell” on discovery+.
Osbourne and fellow ghost hunter Katrina Weidman are at it again, scouring the country to find – and confront – the most haunted locations and sinister of spirits, who are at unrest… or who have a vendetta that they are determined to settle, even if it’s after their death.
In the exclusive clip at the top of this article, Osbourne and Weidman have only been in the Hill View Manor for a few minutes, but they’ve already got the willies. And there is a darn good reason why. The manor was built...

When Portals to Hell returns for a third season on April 9, with a same-day debut on Travel Channel and discovery+, you won’t hear Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman talking too much about hell, or demons. Rather, the duo kicks off 13 new episodes with a paranormal investigation of the shuttered nurshing home Hill View Manor in New Castle, Pennsylvania, where they seek “The Creeper ” shadow figure.
“It was the fucking craziest place we’ve been to,” says Osbourne about Hill View in a recent interview with Den of Geek for the Talking Strange paranormal pop culture show and podcast.
“That place was bonkers,” he adds about the location featured in the season premiere. “Every time I investigate somewhere, and they go, ‘Oh, there’s a ghost named Charlie, or a creeper, or a crawler, or the shadow man,’ and you’re just like many times do we hear that? But they weren’t lying.

A knife-hurling poltergeist, a doppelganger-infested seminary, a fleet of mini UFO drones and a giant, grody Bigfoot toenail (you read that right) are just a few of the bizarro video clips Jack Osbourne and the “Ghost Brothers” — Dalen Spratt, Marcus Harvey and Juwan Mass — have compiled to rattle each other in the new discovery+ series “Fright Club.”
In a hair-raising yet hospitable competition, the quartet of paranormal investigators not only round up the freakiest footage and photos of the unexplainable, but they also get those who shot the oddities to share how they felt in the moment they captured it.
In the exclusive teaser above, Harvey presents a clip of footage taken in an abandoned hospital used in World War I that clearly shows a large light anomaly pass through the frame, breaking a chair in its path.

“What is this that stands before me,” Ozzy Osbourne asked on the song “Black Sabbath” by his band Black Sabbath. “Figure in black which points at me. Turn ’round quick and start to run. Find out I’m the chosen one.” Yes, The Prince of Darkness himself was picked to appear on Travel Channel’s two-hour special, The Osbournes: Night of Terror. Smiling Woman and Other Short Horror Films from Alex Magaña: "Last Halloween I entered an under 3 minute horror short film contest. I lost, but since it's release, my short "Smiling Woman" has passed 2 million views on YouTube! Seeing the way people have reacted to it and the positive feed back inspired me to make more horror short films. It's been tough with the quarantine and Covid-19 but I've been finding creative ways to work and stay safe, such as filming out in the woods where we'd be away from people, writing scripts with a small cast and keeping to a 2-3 person crew. Starting July 15th, I have released an under 3 minute horror short film every Wednesday and will continue to do so.

The Osbournes, the heavy-metal family that wowed MTV viewers nearly two decades ago, are set to stage a partial reunion on Travel Channel.
Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne will join their son, Jack, for eight hour-long episodes of “The Osbournes Want To Believe,” a series that has Jack Osbourne trying to convince his parents of the veracity of shocking clips of purported paranormal activity. In the series premiere, Jack Osbourne shares video footage of poltergeists, haunted dolls, UFOs and unidentifiable beasts. The show debuts Sunday, August 2 at 10 p.m. eastern.

The “Ghost Adventures” crew is at it again, boldly going where no man (or woman) has gone before… a whole bunch of demons and evil spirits, yes, but no human in their right mind.
Travel Channel’s four-part miniseries “Ghost Adventures: Quarantine” has paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley quarantining themselves for nearly two weeks inside Bagans’ Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, testing the widely-held belief that supernatural entities feed off of fear, and the more fear in the air, the more dangerous the spirits become.
“Fear gives entities power, and fear is now permeating our society on a scale we haven’t experienced before,” Bagans said. “We are witnessing the amount of spirit activity greatly increase and we need to understand how this unprecedented situation affects things on a supernatural level.”

Jack Osbourne was supposed to go to SXSW last month for the premiere of “The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne,” a documentary about his dad that he produced, before the festival was canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic. “We had a children’s choir that was going to sing ‘Crazy Train,’” Jack says on Thursday’s episode of the Variety and iHeart podcast “The Big Ticket.” “I’m so heartbroken that we couldn’t do it.”
