As always a lovely tv show and this episode was a great way to start season 10. The storylines were well developed and transitioned easily. Heartfelt messages.

How can Jenny still be narrating this when she left years ago and barely any of the characters she knew are still in it?? They established a while ago that her former colleagues were writing to her, keeping her up to date with things, but I think believability with that is being tested now.
Anyway, that gripe out of the way this episode marks the return of the BBC long-standing drama, that continues 10 series in to be both warm and moving every single episode.
There were some lovely moments here, with Judy Parfitt once again stealing every scene as Sister Monica Joan.
It doesn't all work though. There's elements of slight repetition in the stories, and it feels like Sister Julienne has been fretting about being shut down for about two series, having the same scenes again and again.
On the whole though the good out-weighs the repetition.
