My wife and I had no problem sitting through this 3+ hour movie. In fact we could have watched more. It goes to show, they can still make interesting films without nudity and cursing. We

also went through a half dozen hankies. Tom

Rawhide (1938)

Gehrig's performance

While not Oscar deserving, Gehrig did a commendable job, considering it was his first (and last) movie. The movie was made a year before he retired from baseball due to the disease that claimed his life two years later.

For a 1958 film the aerial photography was terrific, this before the digital effects of the 90's.

A Perfect Murder (1998)

Better than Dial M

I liked it better than the Hitchcock version, Dial M for Murder. Most of the stars measure up, except for Gwyneth Paltrow, who

reminded me of Twiggy.
