3 Ninjas (1992)
Worst Movie Of All Time
I saw this movie on t.v. this afternoon and I can't see how anyone can sit through this piece of trash. It's not funny at all and it takes your I.Q. down a few notches. I know this movie is for kids, but that doesn't mean the writers should take their intelligence for granted. I bet that writers were sitting around a large wooden table and figured that a) The word "poop" equals big laugh. b) A four foot tall kid can dunk on a ten foot tall basketball net. c) Kids should always fight kidnappers armed with guns because the kidnappers will fall for anything and d) 3 months of karate training is all you need to beat up so-called "ninjas" with swords. One good thing I can say about this movie is it contains the weakest suburban "gang" in the world that couldn't scare anybody. Maybe the guys at MST3K could use this movie for a good laugh. Don't bother with this lame-ass excuse for a movie.
BASEketball (1998)
Watch With Your Friends!
I will admit that the first time I watched this movie I thought it was only reasonably funny. That was until I watched it with my friends. I think the secret to fully enjoying this movie is to have someone in the room who laughs out loud. The first time I watched the whole vomit/bucket scene I thought it wasn't the funniest thing in the world, but the next day I found myself rewinding the scene repeatedly just to see the look on Squeak's face when he looks over and sees Remer deep in his bucket. I think what carries along a lot of the scenes is Trey Parker and Matt Stone's facial expressions especially the look of disgust Remer shows when he witnesses Coop's "really scary face" psyche out. That is one of my favorite scenes. I'm going to call this a "party movie" meaning it is 10 times funnier with a group than watching it by yourself.
Oh yeah, make sure you have a basketball on hand if you watch this with a group of people because you'll be itching to start you own Baseketball game in your driveway.

Very Fun To Watch
This has to be the most fun you can have in 30 minutes. The characters are distinctive and colorful. Ash, Misty, and Brock have personalities as different as their pokemon. The pokemon are the main stars of the show with Pikachu being the most popular. Everything he does is funny. You'll laugh out loud even when all he's doing is eating with two very small chopsticks. When he tries to explain to his trainer in his own hilarious language (pika pika, pikachu) you'll be rolling on the floor. He'll become increasingly annoyed when Ash doesn't understand what he is saying until he resorts to charades to get his point across. The funniest characters in the show has to be Team Rocket (Jesse, James, and Mewoth). These bumbling fools will resort to anything to capture Ash's Pikachu. Even flying in a stadium by air balloon to get the "home team advantage." They'll also say their chant before every battle which, suprisingly, never gets old because of the different emotions they say it in. My favorite episode so far has to be Island of the Giant Pokemon. Nothing is funnier then a 70 ft smiling Pikachu chasing our heroes. I could go on telling you how this is THE best anime on television, but all it takes is one episode to become hooked. And if you think you have to be a kid to enjoy this program, I'm way past my cartoon viewing days and I'd watch this over a "Must See" show any day.
