Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, in Pittsburgh
25 February 2000
Bloodsucking Pharaohs in Pittsburgh is pretty average for the genre. It had its moments, and with Savini doing the effect, most of the moment are good. While watching the movie, though, I couldn't help but feel that there was a lot cut from this movie. Being that it was released under a big name studio, my feeling is probably right. But if you like movies with Hookers, dismemberment, one-liners, and lots of blood, then you'll like this movie. Just make sure you watch it with friends. (And surprizingly, there was no nudity in this movie.....probably all cut)

Passions (1999–2008)
The closest thing to Ed Wood and John Waters on TV!
26 January 2000
I have to admit, the show is dumb and pointless, but thats the beauty of it. After an hour of it you think "What just happened? Did any thing get resolved? Why?..etc" So hoping that the next one will answer those questions, you watch. It and endless cycle. And I love it.

I also have to admit that I hate soap operas, and the only one I've ever "enjoyed" was Dark Shadows (re-runs on Sci-fi). So me liking this one says alot. Granted this show is not for everybody. If you don't have a sense of humor, a love for camp, or ever been "really" bored, then don't bother watchin it. But for those who do experience these things, sit back, drink your Mar-Timmy's and enjoy the trash.

P.S. Matrix-Man!!!

Chow Yun-Fat kickin butt.
21 February 1999
Most people think this movie is mindless and pointless, and one of Chow's worst. I think people look to deeply into the film. This film is not about havin an indepth story or plot line. It's not a movie that's supposed to make you ponder on life. It's just a flashy movie showin Chow kickin butt to kickin music, period. Sure, it might not be good compared to "The Killer" or "Hard Boiled", but it is still a "fun" movie to watch. And that's what watchin a movie like this is for, fun, not thought. To those people who criticized it for all that was wrong I say: "Sit down, shut up, and watch the movie. Don't compare or think about what your watchin, just watch it."

Disturbing. Mostly because it's based on true events
21 February 1999
This is one of THE most disturbing movies I've seen. The thing that disturbed me the most was that it was based on the events of Squadron 731. The human testing in the movie was well done and pretty realistic. Some scenes were campy, while others made you wanna get up and vomit. The most disgusting to me was the cat thrown in a room of thousands of hungry rats. The rats tore the cat apart, and it was with real a real cat and real rats! No effects! Nonetheless, it was a good movie with a good story. Definitely don't plan to watch this movie with the family (or the cat) after Sunday dinner.

Ed Wood does action movie
21 February 1999
This is one of the funniest movies i've seen in a while. The acting is so horrible, you can't help but laugh. I don't even know where to begin. The plot pretty much starts out with the father telling his son that fighting doesn't solve anything, but then the son convinces his father that fighting solves a lot of things. The fat bully kid in the movie gets the town to hate the "new" kid by tellin them he said San Fransisco karate was better than Seattle karate. In a scene where a "black" kid breakdances, you can clearly see they brought a "white" guy to do the actual breakdancin. What camp! Jappy definitely recommends this movie to anyone who likes to sit and watch a bad movie to laugh at. Enjoy!

Great Movie, Bad Re-Release
15 February 1999
I watched this movie for ten years growing up, and loved every minute of it. When my parents got divorced, my father took his copy with him and I hadn't seen the movie since. Finally, someone told me Anchor Bay Entertainment re-released it. Jappy was Happy. I bought it right away. I sat down ready to be tickled with laughter, just as I was as a kid. Within 10 minutes of the film, I was on the floor giggling like a little schoolboy. But then I started noticing bad cuts, missing and changed lines, and even cut scenes. Hey, I watched this movie every Saturday for ten years, I know it like the back of my hand. I was appalled, but thought there might be a good reason........But it better be a Hum-Dinger, to mess with a classic like that.
