The Audrey Hepburn Story (2000 TV Movie)
10/10
Made with more "Love" then anything
23 April 2000
This movie is one that is to easy to criticize because its strength is in its heart. Jennifer Love Hewitt is almost perfect in the role that no one could play perfectly. While the supporting cast is weak, Hewitt makes it watchable because of the amount of heart she puts in and is able to convey on the screen. Amazingly she looks great in Hepburn's signature dress, and is somehow able to master her accent like no one expected. If you watch a couple of Hepburn's films and then watch this movie, you will see how well Hewitt does at Hepburn's mannerisms as well as her unique charm. If your an Audrey Hepburn fan, thank Hewitt for making this movie possible.

Bloodline (1979)
For any True Audrey Hepburn fan, this movie should make you sick.
8 August 1999
It was said that midway through shooting "Bloodline" Audrey Hepburn finally realized what a horrible and degrading movie this was going to be and desperately wanted to get out of it, but she was under contract and had no choice.

When you see this movie you will realize exactly why she felt so bad about making it. The absolute only reason to watch "Bloodline" is to see how Audrey Hepburn aged like fine wine.

A mature yet lovable Film
21 July 1999
Two for the Road is definetely a movie that married couples would appreciate more than anyone else. It tells the story of a married couple remember better times.

It has its lovable moments and its important moments, but in the end it turns out to be more than worth the rollercoaster ride you are taken on. Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney are a great team in this great movie.

The most underated movie ever!
21 July 1999
This is truly one of my personal favorites of all Bogart's movies. The fact that audiences in 1954 didn't like it makes me wonder what they were on. This is one of the funniest, brilliantly casted, entertaining movies ever.

The comedy and silliness is what makes this movie special, this is definetely a must see for movie buffs of all ages.

One of Bogart's Last Gangster Roles.
21 July 1999
Bogart, Raft, Holden, that's a pretty darn good cast, but none the less this movie really disapointed me. George Raft wasn't entertaining at all, in a role that was made for him. William Holden was Ho-Hum as Raft's disturbed son.

Bogart alone saved this movie from the cellar with his brutally tough yet down to earth role as Raft's only root to the Gangster world that he tries to abandon.

The ending is truly tragic but again running home the fact that crime doesn't pay.

High Sierra (1940)
Definitely one of Bogart's best
15 July 1999
This is one of my personal favorite Bogart movies because of the character he plays and how it develops through the film.

I never thought I would ever feel for a gangster but thats what this movie does. Bogie's character has bad luck through the movie accept when he meets Ida Lupino, and thats when his compassionate and lovable side shines through.

While the ending is terribly sad it just goes to show that even if you're good at heart crime doesn't pay.

My Fair Lady (1964)
10/10
Audrey Hepburn is definitely more than just a Fair Lady.

While many consider Audrey to have been miscast as Eliza Doolittle, I thought she was perfectly lovable as Eliza, especially in the musical scenes. I couldn't help but admire her beauty, even when she was on the streets selling flowers.

Rex Harrison is just as great as the gruffly lovable professor Higgins. This is really a fun Musical which is terribly underrated.

Sabrina (1954)

A Truly lovable movie
14 July 1999
Finally a movie with my two favorite movie stars of all-time, and they are playing opposite each other. Sabrina is a great romantic comedy with great humor and a great cast. Audrey is beautiful in her second major picture, and Bogey is great at being Bogey, while William Holden is as hilarious as ever as David Laribee.

But with no suprise Audrey steals this film as only she could, and with grace never surpassed. This is truly one of the finest of all romantic comedies.

High Noon (1952)
The Greatest Western of All-time
14 July 1999
This is without a doubt the best western ever made. The reason I say this is because in my opinion western's tell stories that just happen to be in the west. And this story does just that, the story is the main attraction not the background it is set in. The acting is superb as well as the brilliant story.

But I think the best part of High Noon is the perfect theme song which shows up without being noticed but gets the point across perfectly. This is the movie that made me become the biggest Gary Cooper fan and if you see this movie you will see exactly why.(The real time feature adds to the tension brilliantly)

Casino Royale (1967)
Great Fun
13 July 1999
Casino Royale has really gotten a bad rap because people take things too seriously. This movie is just supposed to be silly and I think it did a good job at.

I personally love Casino Royale, the great cast, the wonderful music, and of course the Blazing Saddles style finale. How can you hate a movie with Peter Sellers, David Niven and William Holden(even if he didn't have a big part).

This movie should be loved by all and not taken seriously.

Bogie at his best.
11 July 1999
I don't care what anyone says, this is THE Humphrey Bogart movie. This is my personal favorite because it puts Bogie in a great position to be the romantic and sarcastic Bogart that we all love. Mary Astor is my favorite Bogart Girl because she is the only one who is just as much fun to watch as Bogie is. The best part of this movie is watching them go back and forth.

The plot isn't bad either, and Sydney Greenstreet is perfect for his role. But The real fun is watching Bogie be Bogie.

A Perfect Movie
7 July 1999
Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn are absolutely perfect together, and the movie isn't bad either. I just love the chemistry between the two and it makes me wonder why this was their only movie together. The story itself is very interesting and unlike most mystery's it holds your attention through the whole movie.

Cary Grant in his later years is as dashing and hilarious as ever, but without Audrey Hepburn this movie would have probably been a bore. Audrey is the only actress that I can actually put myself in the role of. Unlike most actress's who make themselves out to be ditsy and just plain stupid, Audrey is smart and cute at the same time.

Cary and Audrey are perfect for this movie and this movie is perfect for them.

Audrey Hepburn is Unbelievably Perfect
7 July 1999
Marilyn who? Who could imagine in a million years anyone else as Holly Golightly. This is my pick for the best movie of all time. Every time I see this movie it makes me laugh. This movie takes you on a rollercoaster like no other, From uncontrollable laughter to utter sadness. This is the funniest movie of all time and the saddest. Of course this movie wouldn't have been nearly as good without Harry Mancini's brilliant soundtrack. Buy this movie.

Audrey Hepburn truly shows her versatility as an Actress
7 July 1999
Audrey Hepburn is brilliant as Sister Luke. She makes this a great dramatic movie. After seeing Audrey as the Lovable Sabrina and Enchanting Princess Ann, Audrey really showed me something in this movie. This is truly a mantle piece for the masterful career of Audrey Hepburn.

but it wasn't Audrey's fault
7 July 1999
This may be a terrible movie and Anthony Perkins as the hero is one of the worst miscasts in the history of movie's but is wasn't Audrey's fault. The story may have been terribly corny but it wasn't Audrey's fault. Audrey did exactly what the role called for. She was mysterious and lovely at the same time.

This movie might have been something special with anyone other then Perkins as the leading man.

One of my all-time Favorites
7 July 1999
This movie truly is special. Forget the age difference between Audrey Hepburn and Gary Cooper and this story is glorious fun. Maurice Chevalier is an extra present, as The Private Detective Claude Chavase. When you put all the pieces together you have a lovable romance for the ages.

Great Movie
30 June 1999
This is a real solid movie that I really, really enjoyed. I especially enjoyed the pairing of Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'toole. O'toole has great timing, while Hepburn just has to be herself to be brilliant. This is a real fun movie to watch with friends and family. This is a must rent.

This movie has everything.
30 June 1999
This movie has everything, slapstick comedy courtesy of Mickey Rooney, Smart and Cool comedy from Martin Balsam, as well as the obvious romantic pairing of Hepburn and Peppard, which in my opinion may be the best ever. But there are plenty of serious moments that wrench your heart. Hearing about Holly and Doc's relationship made me think. While Hepburn was perfect for the role of Holly, Peppard was almost as equally entertaining.

Best Scene: When Holly finally realizes who she belongs to.

Funniest Scene: Paul asking if Tiffany's can have the Cracker Jack box ring engraved.

This is a must see for a fan of Romantic comedy's and of course Audrey Fans. You will regret it if you don't.

Surprisingly Entertaining
30 June 1999
I was surprised at how well Cagney and Bogart got into their roles, Cagney was his usual fiesty self. The only difference was he was on horseback, which actually added to his perfomance. I also enjoyed Bogart as the villainous Whip McCord, not exactly his cup of tea but none the less he looked pretty good in a Cowboy hat.

Best Scene: The brawl finale between Cagney and Bogart

Great Gangster Flick
30 June 1999
This is a classic James Cagney movie with added character support. In my opinion Bogart is the strongest of all supporting characters. He is himself, even as a lawyer. Classic Bogie

Best Scene: When Rockey realizes he's been betrayed and wastes Bogie.

Midnight (1934)
Terrible Movie
30 June 1999
DON'T EVEN CONSIDER WATCHING THIS IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A HUMPHREY BOGART MOVIE. While Bogart dons the cover, he in no way stars in this movie or even contributes to this film. For gosh sakes he gets shot and killed halfway through the movie. Other than that this is still a horrible movie. Bad acting, and dated/disturbing subject that slows this movie down to a crawl.

Don't even waste your time with this one folks!
