Mumford (1999)
About as subletly odd as movies get
I watched this movie expecting a light-hearted comedy and was absolutly floored when I discovered a deep, thought-provoking, and surprisingly touching drama. Mumford is such an unusual character, (and town, now that I think about it) so much so that I don't think I've ever seen anything like him in a movie before. Then there's the supporting characters, such as Skip, played by the always amazing Jason Lee, or Lily, or just about everyone you see on camera. This film is great, and criminaly under-rated, go see it, now
Ngo si seoi (1998)
Almost like two different films...
There are so many highs and lows in this film it's almost like watching two entirely different films. The fights and stunts are some of Jackie's best, and many of the scenes are hilarious. On the downside though, the acting is downright bad, beyond bad! So, watch it for the fights, just try to ignore the rest.
Ging chaat goo si 4: Gaan dan yam mo (1996)
Stupid edits
I'm assuming the uncut, non-American release version of this film is better than the one I saw, but it's still pretty good. Dumb plot, and even dumber action sequences, but boy, are they fun to watch. Worth watching for the ladder fight alone!

Amazing stunts
When it comes to fights, this film is sub-par, however, when it comes to stunts, it's top of the line. Jackie leaps from rooftop to rooftop, climbs parking garages, and even leaps off bridges! It's also Jackie's funniest film to be re-released here in the states. Fun stuff.
Seong lung wui (1992)
One of Jackie's worst
The end fight in the car factory is pretty cool, but not much else in this film is. I don't know if it was the re-editing of the film, but it made no sense, and what did was pretty stupid. For die-hard Jackie fans (like me) only.
Ging chaat goo si III: Chiu kup ging chaat (1992)
This film made me hurt
Jackie, while clutching onto a ladder dangling from a FLYING HELICOPTER slams into a billboard, OUCH! This movie is simply amazing. Not only are the fights and stunts amazing, but it also has a plot! Michelle Yeoh is equally amazing. Rent the movie, excuse the poor dub, and be amazed.
Blues Brothers 2000 (1998)
A new level of badness....
If one film is a visible example of what true PAIN is..it is this "film" Blues Brothers 2000 is quite possibly the worst film of all time, and is definitely the worst sequel of all time. Only three films have made me physically ill, The Last Boy Scout, Iron Eagle 2, and this is the third. If you ever meet someone and find out they like this film, AVOID THEM! Anyone that likes this film should be banished.
Rushmore (1998)
One of the best
This is the best film I have ever seen in the theater. Many films try to successfully portray what it is like to be an outcast in high school, but this is the first one to do it right. This is the greatest teen-film of all-time, and in my opinion the best film of the 90's.
