Not the best, But if your a devoted Rat Packer.........It's a fun time and great to see them all in the Vegas of past.. when Vegas WAS VEGAS!! It was still great to see the likes of Donald O'Connor and Red Skelton as the headliners and see the elegant lounges where thery would all perform,up close and personal not for 100-300 feet away. You could walk up to them after a performance and actually chat with them as they left the stage. Everyone was dressed in suits,tuxedos, and formal dresses, wearing furs and everyone smoking. If you remember the the days of no cell phones, using the operator to make long distance calls, no computers, walkmans, cassette and 8 tracks tapes, then this is one movie you should love.

A MUST SEE FILM.

If this is not THE Golden Globe and Academy Award winner for best picture, best leading actress and best supporting actress, then something is terribly wrong. The performances, by Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renee Zellweger, and Queen Latifah, as well as Richard Gere, were beyond incredible, as was the score and choreography. This is perhaps one of the best movies of the decade. It deserves 10 stars!!!!

A superb Oscar winning performance by Sean Penn, and Michelle Pfeiffer is wonderful as the defense attorney. You can't help but fall in love with Dakota Fanning and her marvelous performance. Unless your not a romantic and/or sentimentalist at heart, don't bother seeing this film, as it will bore you. Otherwise, you'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll want to see this movie again because it will touch your heart in manny ways.

Absolutely incredible! Set decoration, Makeup, Special Effects. If it does not win an Oscar it would be a shame!! One of the best ways to let your mind escape the crap of the world for 3 hours! It scares you, makes you laugh, and makes you cry. If you can let yourself go, this movie is worth seeing more then once!

The movie was extremely good, but slow to get started. The first half was spent getting to know the characters, but was great, exciting and tense the last half. DeNiro, and Norton played their parts masterfully, and even Brando acted well in this film. *******

Though the movie was a bit long and probably could have been edited to 2.5 hours, this rendition of that day that will live in infamy, will leave most people in awe of how close we were to preventing this disaster, and how terrible it must have been for our parents and grandparents who survived Pearl Harbor, to have watched helplessly as their buddies, and fellow soldiers, and loved ones were killed before their own eyes in a matter of minutes. After seeing this movie, I can't see how anyone with a heart, can't feel the pain, the fright, and emotional horror these young soldiers had to endure not just for an hour of hell, but the rest of their lives.

Some people would try to rate this with Con Air and the Rock, but Bruckheimer fans will set this far apart from those films, like Con Air which does not even rate with this film. Bruckheimer show us that it's possible to see the future of our civilization, if we ever let the government get into our homes. Though, only a generation or so from now.....Well, just see this film and know that the fine line between fiction and non-fiction grows ever closer each day!
