American Sad-laws
13 September 2001
To say this movie is crap, is well, being too nice. Most of my complaints come from the microphones. Now, if you've never seen a hollywood studio microphone they use to film scenes, well this movie gives you ample shots of different ones. We came in I'd say maybe 5 minutes late so we probably missed 2 or 3 shots, but in the first 10 minutes we were watching, microphones bobbed in and out of many shots. The best was one was hands down the campfire scene. In the middle of the screen for the entire scene is a giant fuzzy microphone. I mean come on people, we're paying $7.25 for this crap. Not to mention we counted 25 microphone shots in all. Also, how a house explodes and magically a woman appears with a blackened face. It was I dream of Genie all over again. She just mysteriously pops into the shot. And last and least....Jesse James. He gets injured. Several scenes later, his injuries are mysteriously in a different place. How odd......that I payed to see this.

Punching a reindeer-the NEW Christmas Tradition
27 September 2000
I'll be the first to tell you that this movie rather, well sucks. Its not a very funny movie. There are a few funny scenes, but not enough to make this a hit. Of course, Phil Hartman pulls off another good performance. The other guys, well....they did too. Arnold did, however, have the best scene. Nothing will ever top someone punching a reindeer in a head. That alone almost makes it an instant X-mas classic, but, no script, and lots of bad acting sort of messed that up for them.

X-Men (2000)
Good movie, 'nuff said bub.
19 July 2000
I was a little weary when I had heard the X-Men were going to be made into a movie. At first sight of the guy who was playing Wolverine, I feared the worst. I mean, what are you gonna expect from a bunch of people running around in spandex.

Thankfully, however, we were spared spandex in place of leather. I don't believe they could've picked a better cast for the X-Men. Halle Berry was kinda weak as the part of Storm. Hugh Jackman amazed me. Even though he was much taller than Wolverine, he played him exactly like you would read in the comic. I was amazed. He has the character down. Other than Wolverine, I enjoyed Rogue. Besides her being a total babe, she did a great job. Anna Paquin was perfect for the role. The other actors were decent for their roles. Patrick Stewart makes a good Professor X. Ian McKellan an okay Magneto, but nothing like you'd imagine from the comic.

All in all, I think this movie did the comic justice. Except for a few complaints it was good. I didn't however see Cannonball or Colossus in the movie. Go figure. And who knows, maybe the X-fans will get their wish next time around. What better mutant to kick off the second movie than Gambit. Least that's what they're saying. I'll definitely be in line for the next.

Ernest is the godfather of comedy....or something like that
24 October 1999
Ernest Scared Stupid is by far the best Ernest movie yet. Our lovable bumbling idiot has to save the day this time from a bunch of trolls. Sounds like a cheap horror flick plot, but once you factor in Ernest......its non stop side splitting Ernest P. Worrell action. I mean, it even has his faithful dog Rimshot in it. You can't go wrong with that.

Night Patrol (1984)
Conan O'Brien would be proud.
18 October 1999
Night Patrol is one of those films where you finally catch your breath after laughing, and then lose it again a second later. I seen the movie for the first time on the same day I'm posting and I'll say it tops most comedies I've seen to this day.

If you like Conan O'Brien type humor then this movie will put a smile on your face, and a tear in your eye. Or something like that.

Millennium (I) (1996–1999)
Awesome
10 September 1999
Lance Henriksen is a wonderful actor. Each and every show of Millennium was great. I will have to agree with everyone that it was much better than X-Files. On Millennium, you actually care what happens to Frank, while I don't really care about Mulder and Scully. Well it usually goes this way, a great show is always cancelled.

Lamb (1985)
Interesting
10 September 1999
Lamb is really good movie. Liam Neeson does a fine job in this film. Its probably not the best he's ever done, but the movie deserves some credit. He plays Brother Sebastian a man questioning his faith and his role in life.

He befriends a small boy named Owen who has had nothing but bad things throughout his life. During all of this his father dies and leaves his estate to him, he gets part of the money up front and decides to elope with young Owen. Things go from good to bad to bad to worse, with a ending that will shock you.

Its a good movie!
5 September 1999
After reading comments on this movie. I have to say people are very ignorant about "The Crow" character. The first and second movies are two different stories. Eric Draven accomplished what he needed to do and was gone. Ashe Corven is NOT the same character. Not only that, but people say its the same storyline. Well anyone who really knows anything about "The Crow" fan wise will know that the reason why a Crow brings a soul back from the dead is for revenge.

I wonder about this......
4 August 1999
Okay here's the deal. You are either gonna expect one or two things from this. 1.)A solid action movie about an American fighting ninjas or 2.)You're gonna laugh till you hurt. Well this movie definitely falls into #2. You see its quite ridiculous. Ninjas with bones made of metal and feel no pain? Yet, when they're attacked you hear bones crack and them yell out in pain? Or the fact that these superninja's are taken down by a Vanilla Ice/Guile look alike who needs a serious fashion update. Its comedic relief for all! Or the fact that this bad to the bone lazy eyed Asian man pulls out a shotgun from out of nowhere. Or the black man, named Jackson, pulls out knifes from no where. I think to really sum up this movie its one of those things that'll either end up on Mystery Science 3000 or be in the $3 bin at Wal-mart to buy. Which is how i got my copy! Regardless this is more of a cartoon than a action movie.....sad. It is funny to watch ninjas get shot down by Marines in hawaiian shirts! Oh the fun!

Tarzan (1999)
Great movie, minus annoying comic relief.
7 July 1999
Well you know......I was expecting the classic Disney crap. I was worried that they would make the movie unbearable to watch. I was wrong....well at least until I read the book. But regardless, the movie in itself is great. If we didn't have those annoying animals trying to be funny I would have loved it even more. Of course, there didn't have to be a villain either. But it was thoroughly enjoyable, other than that. I would say better than any other Disney movie.

Until I read the book. Then I look back and see what a load of crap the movie is. But I do like what Disney did with Tarzan even if he's not buff.

Go watch the movie....or read the book....not both. :) The book's better
