I am shocked to see all the reviews hailing this movie as sick, disturbing, or scary. Sure the subject matter isnt Teletubbie material, but the way it is edited makes it almost comical. The music totally destroys the mood. It mirrors I spit on your grave as far as situation goes, buts lacks Grave's creepy scenes and lack of corny music. I guess you can say it has the Blair Witch quality of trying to scare you with what you dont see, but fails at that as well. The characters are totally unbelievable as well. Who would be stupid enough to have his hands tied behind his back? Or kill their selves on command? Not the worst movie of all time, but not disturbing. Or scary.

Rosewood (1997)

A Very Good Movie

Very good historical film that shows the absolute lunacy over racism in the Early 1900's. Very powerful performances by Voight, Rhames, and Rooker.

Rhames was almost as good as he was playing Marcellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction. Did very well considering he isnt known for the lead parts.

Voight plays an Ocsar Schindler type character. Very well acted from one of the true masters.

Rooker plays a tweener who floats between good and evil. He might end up being a decent guy except he's the sheriff of a very racist town and is almost powerless. His lines at the end pretty much make the movie.

Overall, I recommend the movie if you are in for a interesting, if not bothersome at times evening.

The Sixth Sense (1999)

Great twists and turns make this Good.

The movie is entertaining in the fact that the end will have you scratching your head for hours. It is one of the best twists I have seen in a movie in quite a while. The storylines are hardly original as it bowers from both the movies Ghost and the Frighteners. I found it better than either of those two movies simply because it improved on the formulas it borrowed. Definately go and see the movie.

Book of Love (1990)

HIGH SCHOOL MOVIE AT ITS BEST

This movie is very entertaining and should be mentioned in the same context as movies such as Porky's, Fast times at Ridgemont High, and American Pie. While it lacks the perversion of those films, it makes up with a dynamite cast and a very good storyline. Its got its memorable and embarrassing moments. The party scene and the birthday candle for Shank are my favorites. If you enjoy good old fashioned high school flicks check it out.

American Pie (1999)

PORKY'S OF THE 90'S???

The Porky's of the nineties? Definitely. Another appropriate likeness could be "Dawson's Creek does Porno". It is a very wild comedy that is a constant barrage of utterly embarrassing sexual situations that our cast of teens are put through. The cast does a great acting job. The plot is kind of weak, but doesnt really matter. Its the humor in this movie that gets high marks in my opinion. I would highly recommend this movie if you are into very vulgar sex comedy. If not, this is a movie you would want to avoid. 7 out of 10 stars.

American History X (1998)

VERY GOOD

This is not the ground breaking drama everyone makes it out to be. The ending is done in a kind of wicked way but plays out pretty much to form of these kind of movies. Edward Norton's character is awesome though. Great acting from him in a very difficult role. His transformation from killer to savior is kind of chessy but you root for him none the less. Though I have to say, AHX contains one of the most brutal killings I've ever seen on film. How Norton's character only gets minimal time for the act he perpetrates on the young would be car thieves is totally and utterly sick. The scene I'm talking about you will know when you see it. 6 out of 10 stars
