Broken Arrow (1996)
Excellent acting by Travolta, Slater and Mathis.
John Travolta is an actor who has worn many hats in his career. It is good to see him yet in yet another area, the bad guy. I was surprised at how well he did. His acting abilities coupled with those of Christian Slater and Samantha Mathis made this film very enjoyable. I have seen this movie many times and will enjoy seeing it again and again.
Bronco Billy (1980)
Comments do not favor this film.
It is my personal opinion that this has to be one of the worst films Clint Eastwood ever made. I watched a second time as I didn't think he could do anything this bad, but was rewarded with the viewing of the poor performance of Eastwood and Locke. The story was long and drawn out and didn't show any promise of getting good until the end and then it was too late.
The Bodyguard (1992)
Kevin Costner's pain of losing his dream almost stops him from another.
Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston made love seem so simple and magical. One who had everything and one who lost everything combine to make a perfect romance. Love does overcome. A movie worth watching more than once or twice.
Blown Away (1992)
The most animalistic love scene.
When Nicole Eggert is making it against the upstairs wall, you could feel the animalistic fever. The movie keeps you thinking about what is going to happen next. The way life deals you your family should be changed in some instances. In these two families, life really made it a challenge to stay alive. This movie is not a, "who done it", but why; love, lust, greed, or pure animal instinct.
Basic Instinct (1992)
Basic is the word.
The lure of a woman and the power she holds is generated to the basic instinct of man. Wars, fortunes, family and friends have been lost over a single instinct. Sharon Stone displayed her power in every step and every word. She need not have been nude to do so, it is in her being, that of sexiness. Michael Douglas seemed to melt with every glance, especially when questioning her in the room with other officers. What a glance.
Baby's Day Out (1994)
A must see movie for all the family.
I laughed all the way through the movie. If you have seen Home Alone and enjoyed it, this is a must see movie for the entire family. The young and old will enjoy this movie. You just want to keep watching to see what the baby will get into next. Will the kidnappers survive?
