A Many Splintered Thing (2000)
A very funny, well acted programme
A Many Splintered Thing is an excellent show. It's good to see that Alan Davies isn't being type cast as the brain-box Jonathan Creek type and showing off his excellent acting skills. (Only let's hope he hasn't abandoned the stand-up all together!). Unfortunately Victor McGuire has been. In many productions that he has been seen in he has always played the best mate, admittedly he does play that type of character very well, but it would be nice to see him branch out. Kate Ashfield has a wonderful spark playing Elly, and I hope this is only the beginning of her television ventures.
The script is very well written and played with complete depth and chemistry. The whole cast works well together and it definately deserves another series.
Fools Rush In (1997)
Stunning performances by two very talented, sexy actors.
This movie has to be one of my all time favourite films. Admittedly I did only buy the film because I wanted to see Matthew Perry, but I don't regret it for one moment. It's nice to see that Perry isn't being type cast as the joker of the pack due to his brilliant role in "Friends", and he plays the sensitive man very well. Matthew and Salma work extremely well together and have an excellent chemistry. This is such an emotional film, every time I have watched it (Yes, all 12 times) I've cried. And I have to say, Matthew Perry holding that gorgeous baby at the family gathering - NICE! Over all and excellent movie, well acted and directed. All deserve credit.
Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) (2000)
The show is fabulous, Vic and Bob are excellent non-actors!
I would just like to say that the remake of R&H is just as good as the original, and despite what other people say, Vic and Bob are really good in it, especially as they aren't actually actors. Charlie Higson has done an excellent job, and everyone deserves praise. (Except Emilia Fox, who is too pretty for her own good! - Joke!) Well done to all, and good luck for the next series!I love you all!
