Disappointing

I agree with everyone. The dialog is not great, it is not hard to guess the stereotypical responses to the poorly written script. Definitely a great premise for a series but I am really disappointed in it.

Kill Speed (2010)

Good fun movie

Good acting, great character development, and some humour. What more could you ask for? This was a lot better than many of the higher budget films I have seen. I really liked the characters and the story line - nothing earth shattering or unexpected, but an enjoyable movie all around. The storyline was predictable, but what I found the best was the characters. The movie took a little time getting started, it was slow and kinda weird - I guess laying the feeling of the drug trade and what it does, but I do not feel it lent anything to the movie as a whole. If you can hold on watching long enough to get to met Stayger and the rest of the Fly Boys, the story really gets going along at a good clip from there. I could not stop thinking about Andrew Keegan and how he reminded me of Heath Ledger. I would recommend this movie to anyone wanting just a plain old good story.

The Blind Side (2009)

Great Movie!

This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I smiled, laughed and cried. The story line was great. I hope that is was accurate, it would be good to know that people like this really do exist. The casting was well done, I believed the story line and the actors. Sandra Bullock was exceptional, but all of the others were great as well. I loved Big Mike and SJ especially. It is so nice to see a 'feel good' film that is based on a true story - very heart warming. I would recommend this move to anyone - it is a movie that anyone can watch regardless of their age. If you want to see a movie that has a great story and makes you feel great when it is done,then this is the movie for you to see.

Disappointed

I was really disappointed with this movie. The high ratings and Daniel Day Lewis starring had my hopes up, but they were dashed in the first 30 minutes. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen, but the movie provided me with dry, boring entertainment for far longer than a movie should have lasted. The story may have been an interesting tale, but there was no character development for anyone but the lead actor, there did not seem to be any continuity for the most part, and the ending left you wondering why you stayed and watched for so long. I can say that I've only seen 3 films that are worse/more boring than this one. I will certainly NOT recommend that anyone take precious time out of their day to watch this dry, drawn-out regretable film.

No Country for Old Men (2007)

Boring and disappointing

I hated it. It's the first time I've had to say that Tommy Lee was not in a good movie. :-( I did not feel that the character development was good for anyone but Lewellyn and his wife. You really got to know and like Lewellyn, and then abruptly he's gone. We didn't see enough of his wife. Tommy Lee's performance was fine, but he was hard to understand most of the time. What's with Woody's character? Why was it even a part of the movie, it didn't really add anything to it. They could have left out all the scenes with the guy who hires him, too, and it would not have changed the movie. Anton has no redeeming qualities and is quite boring as a character. All in all I was very disappointed with a movie that got so many accolades.

This movie sucks. The only redeeming portion of the movie was Nick Nolte in red satin lace lingerie. This movie doesn't have a plot, makes no sense, and IMO is a waste of money and time. I guess all actors have to make a dud - you've had yours Bruce, now get on with your career.

I urge anyone reading this who hasn't seen the movie - DON'T DO IT. This movie can be added to the top 10 worst movies of all time (to join Dune).
