Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004 Video Game)
Great game gets better!
26 October 2004
This new GTA could easily be called one of the greatest games ever made. To answer some questions without spoiling too much, yes there is a 2-player mode, you are visited by characters from Vice City and GTA 3 (Ken Rosenburg, Kent Paul, and Love Fist). The graphics are a lot better and cleaner, less glitches. San Andreas doesn't seem to be as character driven mainly because of the lack of a character screen while portions of the game loads. This game, like the previous ones seem to recall some of the early '90s "ghetto" movies. CJ's hood looks like it came straight from "Boyz In the Hood". And the characters have colorful names such as Big Smoke, Ryder, and my favorite, B-Dup! All in all, a great game and a must for any fan of the GTA series.

Was this supposed to be Inspector Gadget?
17 August 2002
I have never seen a good cartoon get butchered so badly. The only thing this crap has to do with the cartoon series is the names. Granted I loved Broderick in Ferris Bueller's Day Off but he is in no way shape or form good as Inspector Gadget. Penny was a teen who looked more like a sappy BSB or N'Sync fan rather than the intelligent niece. Brain was somewhat decent, just not as vocal as his cartoon counterpart. Gadget was smart in this one, not his hilarious idiotic self like he is in the cartoon. In the series, Penny and Brain always solved the case, they could have been written out of this movie totally and it would have been better. Dr. Claw was a total mistake! You never, ever saw his face in the series. The only way you could see his face was the action figure that was made of him. (which looked crappy too!) And what about his claw? It wasn't even a claw, it was a clamp! Granted the metal arm and hand in the series wasn't a claw either but at least it was cool. MADD cat in the movie was pure white, nothing like the black and grey cat we all loved and they even gave him a different name. This movie sucks and if watched (you better not spend money on it) should be considered it's own movie and not even though as having anything to do with the cartoon. This is crappity crap!

P.S. - Since when did Disney get rights to Inspector Gadget

Good B-movie filmed at my old school
17 August 2002
When I first heard about this movie, I thought it was cool as hell because it was filmed at my middle school (or junior high). The inside was my school, C.D. Fulkes Middle School in Round Rock, Texas, but the outside was some university in Austin, not UT. It's really a good movie with lots of cool tongue-in-cheek moments. Great for a classic slap-stick horror. Hopefully this will end up as a cult classic in Round Rock.

Trivia - took the janitors a week to clean up the bloody mess from the ax scene in the meantime all of us students were freaking out about it.
