My So-Called Life (1994–1995)
I Guess It Was Too Good
16 February 2005
The is one of the greatest and one of the only relentlessly realistic shows on TV in my opinion. I'm not sure why it was cancelled after one season? Did it really have bad ratings? It couldn't have. Obviously people watched it due to the fact that there were so many fans protesting its cancellation. It almost came back. Claire Danes couldn't come back because of her film schedule. There that ended. Good-bye. I don't blame Ms. Danes, her becoming a star was inevitable. Winnie Holzman is such a brilliant writer of everything. Her writing on this series was unbelievably realistic. This show had perfect everything: music, direction, lighting, clothes, hair, cinematography, not to mention acting. Claire Danes was only 13 when she got the part, and I still think this series was her best acting job. Her portrayal of Angela Chase was incredible, and it earned her a Golden Globe. I was even amazed by the way she recited the voice-overs. The executives at ABC obviously didn't notice that she won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Emmy. Devon Gummersall, Wilson Cruz, Devon Odessa, and A.J. Langer were all in their late teens, and they all shined. I think Wilson Cruz was born to play Rickie Vasquez. He was the first gay teenager on television who wasn't apologetic about it. This show proves that A.J. Langer could play almost any kind of adolescent character(I mean...Did you see her in The People Under the Stairs?)Devon Odessa was great. A lot of people hate Sharon when they shouldn't. She didn't do anything wrong, really. Devon Gummersall was also perfect as Brian Krakow. The moment when he hurts Delia was painful, but they were both good. Lisa Wilhoit was the perfect 11-year-old actress to play the annoying little sister who just wanted some attention. Oh, and the parents were brilliantly played. They had such great chemistry, and were such perfect at playing the parents of a 15-year-old girl. Each voice-over by Angela, episode, and situation was so realistic. The series was just too good. I don't know why they cancelled this show and left us with so many questions. Did ABC not notice that this show was getting critical acclaim, awards, and an amazing amount of fans? Obviously not. I'm glad they regret cancelling this show. And for even more irony, they felt bad for cancelling it so they created "life as we know it" and cancelled it after one season!!!

I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO LOVES THIS MOVIE
14 January 2004
Okay, in 1994 I was obsessed with Macaulay Culkin. When I saw a trailer for this film, I couldn't wait to see it. When I went to see it though, my family and I were the only ones in the theatre! The same thing happened to my aunt and my cousins. I remember loving the film. I wanted that awesome bike he had. I got the videogame, and I got my copy on video. AND JAMES HORNER'S SCORE WAS AMAZING! I thought it was a good movie that had all the genres, even cooler that it was live action/animation. It's sad about it's bomb at the box office. It's quite a forgettable film, but I love it and I still do. Don't forget that Joe Johnston who is now quite acclaimed directed the live action scenes. Great for him.

One of James Horner's Greatest Scores
14 January 2004
This film is wonderful. I remember loving it when it came out. I thought all the acting was impressively great. It had a lot of great stars. BEN KINGSLEY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. Pre-Schindler's List. Joan Allen. She's an amazing actress. No one could forget Joe Magtegna as the father. Or Josh himself, Max did wonderful in this movie. I wonder where he is now. But one thing I will never forget is the music, this movie had such wonderful music. James Horner is quite brilliant. He's up on the best film composer list with John Williams, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, and all the others.

Labyrinth (1986)
Dance Magic Dance
3 November 2003
I first saw this incredible movie when I was four, I loved it so much that I continued renting for about every year. Right now I've rented it, and this weekend I HAVE to buy it on DVD. I'm dying to see the making of feature "Inside the Labyrinth." Looks awesome. This movie is so enchanting, along with "The NeverEnding Story," "The Dark Crystal," and "Return to Oz" and "An American Tail" Gosh, I wish Jim Henson was still alive. That would be a dream. I've followed Jennifer Connelly's career since this movie, and she was destined to get an Oscar. And in this movie she was so HOTT!!! What a beauty, I say. I've always had a crush on her. What guy whouldn't? This is one of her best roles ever. The special effects were freakin' awesome. David Bowie was freakin' awesome. This is his best role ever. It's one of his best achievements up with his singing career. The songs were incredible. This movie is timeless.

Michael, You're Singing About A RAT!!!!!!
20 August 2003
Okay, This movie is about a rat who befriends this kid named David, and this rat is in cahoots with a load of rats who are EVIL and they take over the city like GREMLINS, and at the end of the movie it's a friendship story, not a horror story. If you look at the old poster the movie seems like a horror movie. And at the end of the movie Michael Jackson sang that song! "Ben, you and me are one of a kind. (Can't remember the words)........We've finally found what we were looking for.....(Can't remember the words). . You've gotta friend in me. Come on, man. I think those Beverly Cleary books they made into TV specials are a lot better.

The Ring (2002)
Well, I thought it ended kind of dumb, but that's all.
21 June 2003
Warning: Spoilers
Possible Spoilers I thought this film was really good, very creepy, and very good acting. I am a huge Daveigh Chase film who is going to be a huge star. I thought this film had amazing direction by the brilliant Gore Verbinski who will also be a huge star( I can't wait to see Pirates of the Carribean. The parts that really scared me are when Samara came out of the TV. Yikes! And the videotape. I want to get the DvD. I'd like to read the book. Naomi Watts is gorgeous and incredible. And a young man named David Dorfman was also great, even thought he was kind of creepy looking in this movie, but that was from make-up. I've seen him without it. No offense.

Spirited Away (2001)
ABOLUTELY GORGEOUS
17 June 2003
I totally fell in love with this movie. Hayao Miyazaki is a true genious, and the greatest animater living today. Although I don't like him being called the Japanese Walt Disney. This movie should capture you heart. It is now one of my favorite animated films yet, and DEFINITELY my favorite anime film. Miyazaki has truly made his masterpiece. I think all the voicings are incredible. Suzanne Pleschette? Wow! And Daveigh Chase struck gold as Lilo and she certainly did on this film. Daveigh is true rising star (Did you see her in The Ring?) Go see this movie, your kids will love the characters, and the adults will love the morals.

The Goonies (1985)
Beautiful Movie Filled With Suspense, Comedy, Teamwork,Friendship,Fantasy, And Fun!
7 January 2002
This is in my top five favorite movies. It was wonderful. Every single

minute. It has wonderful characters beautifully played by Sean Astin,

Josh Brolin, Jeff Cohen, Jonathan Ke Quan, Kerri Green, and Martha

Plimpton. This movie gave some of the actors paths to stardom, although

some couldn't take the pressure, and some of them passed away. I haven't

bought the DvD yet, but I heard it's great, I'm really looking forward

to the audio commentary. My favorite parts in the movie are when Chunk

tries to give the candy bar to the deformed guy and it hits his head and

then he cries, and Chunk gives a hilarious scream, the deformed guy,

Sloth, is the most hilarious character, him and Mama Fratelli. Another

one of my favorite scenes is when the Goonies are running from the

Fratellis and then Data puts the water from his shoes and it makes the

Fratelli's slip, and I loved the opening with the wonderful music and

the police chase introduces all of the goonies. I totally love this

movie. It's beautifully acted, directed, and written. And I heard there

was an idea of a sequel, I hope they have one before the year 2005, I

know that no one can replace the real goonies, but I can see Haley Joel

Osment

The Stupidest Movie Ever
29 September 2001
This is movie is just so horrible. It made fun of great horror movies.

The humor was just plain disgusting. And the casting directors found

about the worst actors they could find. And the scenes were sick, the

writing was sick, and the acting was sick. Don't bother seeing this

stupid movie if you know what's good for y

Cute, some good acting, good plot
9 September 2001
For some people who take their kids to see this movie, they say it's cute, and it is. But some of the acting was just poor. Sissy Spacek's daugter was all right, her best work was the scene at the rainy carnival. Larisa Olenik and Rachel Leigh Cook were my favorite. Ellen Burstyn even had a small role. But the other actresses were just poor. But the teen actors were good, like Austin O' Brien. I didn't read many of the books, but I watched the old series, and I'm not saying that it was better, but it was just like the movie.

Adventures in Wonderland (1992–1994)
Wonderful show
6 September 2001
I remember when this show was on Disney a long time ago. I wish Disney were like it were then than like it is now. This show had wonderful music, education, and situations. And seeing 12-year-old Elisabeth Harnois is the best thing about it, she was the perfect person to play Alice. There's nothing I don't like about this show. It had all of the characters and was perfect. Try to find the videos P.S. This show is in desperate need of a reunion, so if any screenwriters see this, consider it since Elisabeth Harnois has grown to be an Oscar worthy, beautiful actress, she won't turn this one down, trust me.

Creepy!(No, That's Not Mispelled For "crappy")
25 August 2001
This movie was okay, not good, not great. I mean, I liked it a little. It was creepy! And the visual effects were cool. And Karen Allen and Wil Horneff had the best acting sequence, but the rest of the cast was kind of weak. This movie actually made sense to me, and the title "Ghost in the Machine." Cool. I'd give this movie a 5 out of 10. It really got me the jitters

good casting. Very good acting. I liked this movie. How could you not

like this movie? I'm surprised this movie got rated G. Garry Marshall

directs good movies, like this one. Anne Hathaway was good and funny.

Julie Andrews kicks butt again. Heather Matarazzo is working in a not so

dirty movie. Mandy Moore is getting into the acting busin

A great movie that teaches overweight kids a lesson
15 August 2001
I love this movie. Good choice of overweight children. Teaches a good lesson to oveweight children "screw weightloss." It's not even important for kids to lose weight. This movie is fun to watch. Ben Stiller's performance might even inspire adults (not kids) to lose weight. My favorite quote is from the foreign guy "I'm feeling skinny, Tony." I laughed it all up. This is barely a Disney movie

Jurassic Park (1993)
A Total Chaotic, Chilling, Film that Made Us Believe
26 July 2001
Steven Spielberg always makes these extroardinary movies that made us

believe. Like Close Encounters and E.T. But this movie was so good and

possible, I mean, metiphorically possible. I don't know how he does it.

And in this movie when the people are eaten and injured, and when they

run from the animals, made me say wow. The kids were more in pain and

chaos than the adults, except for the hacker, the lawyer, and the other

British guy with the guy. The kids got flipped over with a T-Rex on

their tail, and the boy nearly got fried on a electrified fence, the

adults were just chased. The novel was not better than the movie. The

second one wasn't that good, the third was good, but not better than

this one. But if the dinosaurs were trapped behind a fence, I'd go to

Jurassic Park. See this movie now, i

Uncle Buck (1989)
A Beautiful Film About Family and Teen Choices
26 July 2001
I love this movie. John Hughes is brilliant. John Candy shines. The plot

was perfect and the movie turned out great. Jean Louisa Kelly is perfect

for the girl going through decisions on teen sex. And seeing little

Macaulay Culkin before Home Alone and his fame made him a good start.

And before Now and Then and 200 Cigerettes, little Gaby Hoffmann is so

adorable. The little ones were my favorite characters. And the scene

where Miles (Culkin) was asking Buck (Candy) all of the personal

questions was one touching and entertaining scene. This movie was more

of a drama than a comedy once you get the feeling. Everyone should love

Good acting, great remake, wonderful Christmas movie
23 July 2001
I totally loved this movie, just as good, acted just as well, great cast. Sir Richard Attenborough was just the one for Kris Kringle. WOW! Dylan McDermontt does great and Elizabeth Perkins shines with beauty and performance. Mara Wilson pursues Natalie Wood with the spectacular role as the little girl in great perfection. I wish Natalie Wood could've lived to see her performance. This was an amazing movie. If you want to have a great Noel, rent both versions. They're so enjoyable

A great ride of a trilogy!
19 July 2001
This movie was quite awesome in my way of speaking. I mean, the visual effects were kind of lame, but the movie was cool. The whole thing about pteridactles were pretty cool. I honestly thought this movie was going to be lame because Steven Spielberg didn't direct it, only the executive producer. Joe Johnston should've had the movie based on the book. My favorite part in the movie are when the pteridactles made their arrival. Good acting too. I love when the people are running with the dinosaurs right behind them. That was awesome. So, above all this was a slam bang trilogy.

Poison Ivy (1992)
Dark, Deadly, Drew
18 July 2001
In Poison Ivy, Drew Barrymore is sexy and bad, it's hard to believe it's her. Especially at the beginning when she was on the rope. Wow. She even said the "f" word in this movie. I didn't know how dark she was at this movie, wow. Sara Gilbert did a good job too. I liked this movie a little with Drew Barrymore's perfomance. Drew Barrymore should've keeped herself like that. I thought this was a good comeback with the alcohol and stuff. And she wrote that book "Little Girl Lost,"

Dark, Scary, and Sad
11 July 2001
Warning: Spoilers
Possible Spoiler Warning:

I'm sorry to say that this movie was not Spielberg's best. This movie

was not that good. . It was dark, scary, and sad. I'm usually a movie

fan of this type. I tried to like this movie due to the fact of Haley

Joel Osment's lead, but I couldn't. I'm sorry. Of course though, Haley

Joel Osment continues to shine (why does he work in such sad movies?)

And I didn't like the mother, leaving David in the woods was awful. Jake

Thomas is not a very mature actor to me due to his character on the

Disney show Lizzie McGuire, but he seemed to be pretty precousious in

this movie. But I thought it was kind of funny Jude Law playing a

gigolo, that's why it was a little dark. It was scary when he was

running and they were killing all of these robots. I'm not going to tell

you why it's sad, that's not neccesarily a spoiler, that's the whole

movie. But some scenes were frustrating. And the end made me cause a

flood, if you know

Billy Elliot (2000)

9 July 2001
Billy Elliot was a perfect movie. Really good. Good acting. And good

dancing. Jamie Bell is a great British actor, not a child actor, an

actor. Haley Joel Osment couldn't do better in a movie like this. Julie

Walters did great, also. This movie had some language but it was still

good. This movie is definentley a must see. See it now. It's BBC meets

Dirty Dancing. I'd like to meet the real Billy El

Made a good point about these bi***es they call teachers
3 July 2001
Kevin Williamson made a good movie that is full of messages about the

female wenches at schools. And Mrs. Tingle is not too evil to be real.

I'm proud of what these kids did in this movie. I'd to something like

that, but I wouldn't risk the consequences. Katie Holmes is the new Neve

Campbell (and I loved her bad girl phase in Disturbing Behavior). Helen

Mirren shines as a villain, I thought she was fancy due to her Oscar

nomination and

The Shining (1980)
Nothing like the book
22 June 2001
This movie "The Shining" wasn't a single bit like the book, I know there

has to be a little bit of change between the book and the movie but this

movie, I give a big sigh. It was a good scary movie, but I don't know.

Read the book and watch the mini-series. I like the mini-series better,

Quints (2000 TV Movie)
Kimberly J. Brown's the only reason I watched this movie.
20 June 2001
Kimberly J. Brown was great in Tumbleweeds (1999), her Southern accent was okay, her instincts were great and we all know her. Quints was my second favorite Disney Channel Original Movie next to Miracle In Lane 2 with Frankie Muniz. But all the other DCOMies are awful, they're silly, with the most horrible actors and they're not a single bit dramatic, and the shows (except for So Weird and In A Heartbeat) are terrible and silly and just like I said. They've got to stop making

They always make these teen movies and I always like them

Every 6 months they make these teen movies, they don't suck, they're good. I mean, they're all good. Like this movie. I love M.J. Hart, she's awesome, same with Adrian Grenier. I think they're good movies because this is where some teen actors are discovered. It's also pretty funny, I guess, but M.J. shouldn't have cut her hair. But it's a good movie
