The Imperfects (2022)

Never heard of this. Found it randomly when looking for a TV series to watch on a site that has every new TV series.

Looked good from the trailer. It is.

Like the X-Men. Scientist's working on altering the human genome. Illegal scientific experimentation on human subjects, resulting in interesting abilities being developed.

This really goes deep into the science. That's refreshing, as it is generally only touched upon.

The characters are likeable. There is an interesting overarching story. It has a good blend of humour, action, science fiction and drama.

Enjoyable. Look forward to watching the next season.

Ms. Marvel (2022)

Very good! Well paced, engaging, good emotional connection with the characters, good character development, good story.

Brings an Asian family, with authentic eastern and western values to the superhero screen. Well executed. Is touching, funny, dramatic and has good action and effects.

Very well directed. Great scoring, good use of music.

Good characters, with different situations to develop the characters. Through the characters' growth through story development, story threads are established, to enable the story to be able to keep developing into season 2.

I have to say a much lighter tone than the serious dramatic tone of lots of other marvel stuff. I was surprised, in a good way. A really enjoyable first season.

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

A much better cut

This is miles better than the first version.

It's engaging, the pacing is much better. There are different back stories introduced for characters, I though it was going to be a drag watching the same scenes again, it wasn't, I didn't even notice them.

It has been almost totally recut. Loads of it has been reshot. Steppenwolf is also much better.

It almost seems like you are watching an entirely new film.

The film is divided into chapters. It feels like binge watching a mini-series. There is an interesting prologue for the next one at the end. Really good. Much improved. Look forward to the sequel.

Very good follow up to the original Heroes series. Good overarching story. Nice to see some of the original characters, and some good new ones. Leaves you wanting more.
