Star Trek: Voyager: Faces (1995)
I'm wearing my Durst Mask, Clarice...
OK. Let's talk about the elephant (silenced lamb) in the room. I get that people die in Star Trek. It's dangerous out there. I also get that this episode was about the dual Torreses (however you write that). But, the dude was wearing Durst's freaking face! Our heroes were like, "OK, cool. Four to beam up!" I found myself not paying any attention to what Torres was saying at the end of the episode because I wanted someone to address the Durst issue! Come on, Man! Haha!
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Bombad Jedi (2008)
The Redemption of Jar Jar Binks
A lot of people seem to not like this episode because of Jedi Master Binks. My problem is with Nute Gunray! Why doesn't someone kill this guy? He never negotiates! This seems like a bad trait for someone leading a trade organization. We have lost some great characters through the years and this guy keeps on keeping on!
Time Trap (2017)
Alrighty then!!!
I wouldn't call Timetrap a terrible movie. That sounds strange to say considering the acting, dialogue and plot are terrible. The premise was awesome. If they had folks in place to fix the three aforementioned issues, it would have been great!
The X Files: Home (1996)
Awesome Episode!
I live in Southeastern Tennessee and sometimes you encounter people who talk exactly like Ms. Peacock. Every time it happens, I get a chill and it reminds me of this episode. I still think that episode is the most shocking x-files ever made. Playing Johnny Mathis' "Wonderful, Wonderful" during the trip to the sheriff's house was a stroke of genius. Very creepy. I had heard that the idea of the mother being under the bed came from Charlie Chaplin's autobiography. Supposedly, he had met some people who wanted him to meet their family and the mother was under the bed similarly to Ms. Peacock. I have often wondered if other people were as disturbed by this episode as I was.
