A family is divided for the power of a billion dollar company after the father is sick. Great dialogues, Amazing acting! Truly one of the best shows right now.

It is a slow burner but every seasons are solid. The show's dialogue are good and every actors are giving a masterclass performance. Another point to make is the very good theme song.

The show is hard to watch the first episodes because of how much anxiety the characters and the filmaking makes me feel.

I am very careful with what TV Show i watch. I like to feel invested and not bored. A smart show like this won't bore you. I would recommend watching Succession, very good show.

The Lost Daughter (2021)

Boring

This is the most boring movie of 2021, a character study and nothing else !

AND IT IS 2 HOURS LONG. Why would you want to see it? Good question because i don't know. I watched it so you don't have to.

I've seen more than 70 movies from 2021 and i would rewatch all of the bad ones before i rewatch this one.

Old lady, rotten fruits, dolls, annoying people, bad repressed feelings.... oh geez, this is quite the story !

I'm sure everyone is talking about the acting in this movie and this is why i gave it 2 stars. Olivia colman and Jessie Bucley are convincing in their roles and they both could've been nominated for an oscar. But i almost don't want to see this movie win an award.

In conclusion, Maggie Gyllenhaal is not Greta Gerwig.

Kalifornia (1993)

Very Well Done! + Brad Pitt *shirt-less*

I had never heard of this movie until i saw it on streaming, this pandemic has been giving me all sorts of movie discoveries. So i am writing this just after watching it and i feel like this movie is good!

This is a psychological thriller with very good dialogues and interpretations by their leads David Duchovny AND BRAD PITT! Yes he looks really "cool" in this flick but he plays the role of a maniac killer pretty well too.

The movie takes it's time slowly building characters into a climactic finale. If sometimes the movie is boring (especially Juliette lewis dialogues) You can enjoy the beautiful shots of locations with Brad Pitt "shirt-less" in *some of them. That's it.

Equilibrium (2002)

The power of God and Anime !!!

I watched this movie back when it was not even a cult movie. I loved it immediatly but almost nobody saw this movie. It's a really great Sci-Fi in a Dystopian world. The concept is not original and the overall feeling is that it is trying to be the next matrix. BUT ! if you watch it several times you appreciate it more every time. Christian Bale is flawless in this charismatic futuristic cool AF cop who becomes an inside agent for the rebellion. For me this movie is a classic, and found a good fan base.

The best Jackie Chan movie!

I rewatched it last night and this movie brings alot of good nostalgia because i loved it so much when i was a kid. It still holds up pretty well today, the stunts are AMAZING! There is alot of comedy and actions, very fast paced movie that is never boring. The hotel scene and the windmill scene are my favorite scenes in the movie. I like the Indiana Jones vibe but Jackie Chan make this totally feel orginal and entertaining with his own personal style. It is his best work i think.

The Boys (2019– )

Supes gone bad

There is too many superhero movies to keep up with their universe and stuff. That's why i could just keep watching this show. Its not complicated, supes just want to have some fun and they don't care about us.

Many of them in the show have their own personal agenda and they keep messing up with their duties. It's just kind of a different point of view on the genre. I like it!

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018– )

It's good!

Very dark themes here and it gets very real. I liked it alot. Wasn't expecting anything at all when i started watching but was surprised about how they handled the characters and their dynamics. There is some good acting. Father Blackwood is gooood!

Joker (I) (2019)

Joaquin Phoenix is brilliant and this is the best acting performance of 2019. He carries the whole movie and it works. Very original approach for this movie, i was enjoying and at the same time i had a hard time watching it because it is very unsettling. This movie feels like a Film-Noir with psychological thriller attach to it.

The Irishman (2019)

I wanted to see more of old Hollywood and the classic timeless actors that were around at the time and the movie didn't want me to have it !!!

-Bruce Lee fighting Cliff Booth is a great scene cut too short. -The movie is spliced with long scenes from old Rick Dalton spaghetti western. -The Spawn Valley Ranch scene with the horse riding hippies could have been a exciting but Tarantino thinks we want to see Cliff Booth talking with an old man for 10 minutes...

You tried Quentin but it's not your best.

James Gray can't write a good script. Nothing for Brad Pitt to work with. People should just watch Danny Boyle's Sunshine(2007) instead of this boring pretentious movie.

The only good things are the music and the cinematography. I wanted more...
