John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023)

Movie of the year

Just got home from the theaters and man oh man was this one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. This is legitimately a MASTERPIECE. I've seen a lot of films and I think this is the best action film I've seen. Definitely the best action film saga. I had to wait in the theater for a long time because I was just so blown away by how well made this film was.

The lighting has evolved with each movie and it was absolutely stunning. And that goes along with the cinematography. Just absolutely beautiful shots. And of course the choreography was incredibly well orchestrated. AND THE PEOPLE WHO DID THE STUNTS. There seriously needs to be an Oscar for choreography and stunt work.

This one is for Lance Reddick. We all love him and will miss him dearly. Bravo.

Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (2022)

I swear to God this is the movie of the year

I just finished watching and I am actually blown away. Having it written as a parody is just absolutely genius. This is hands down the best biopic I have ever seen. Not only is this my favorite film of the year, it might now be one of my top favorite films of all time. And the ending is definitely one of my favorite endings of all time. I literally laughed through the entire credits. Even though the film was a parody in a way, the actors still did a fantastic job. Daniel killed it and deserves an award. I thought Evan Rachel Wood was amazing as Madonna. Rainn Wilson was hilarious as Dr. Demento. Love you and thank you Weird Al! Keep being weird everyone!

Werewolf by Night (2022 TV Movie)

Marvelous breath of fresh air!

Michael Giacchino did a fantastic job in directing this much needed breath of fresh air for Marvel's phase 4. I loved the idea of a special presentation where you don't need to know anything going into it. That was pretty much how it was towards the beginning of marvel movies, but it had started to get complicated during this most recent phase.

The choice of black and white for this film was great! The visuals along with the amazing special effects helped it bring alive a golden era horror movie. It really felt like something straight out of 30s or 40s. Really impressed by that. Also loved the amount of gore shown and I hope marvel stays in that direction for certain projects going forward. Not everything has to have the same tone and formula which I think is why I enjoyed this so much. It felt much needed and I'm glad this project came to light. Only wish it was a little longer! Other than that, I absolutely loved it!

House of the Dragon: The Heirs of the Dragon (2022) Season 1, Episode 1

A strong and promising start

This episode was great! Felt a lot like an early game of thrones episode. Great acting, great production, great music. The plot leaves us very intrigued and hooks you just like game of thrones. Well done George!

Now one of my favorite Star Wars episodes

I cried multiple times. This was beautiful. It really just connected revenge of the sith and a new hope in such a good way. With the deep themes and great acting by Ewan, Obi-Wan is portrayed in such an amazing way.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

Visually mesmerizing and crazy movie experience!

This was one of my favorite movie theater experiences. So much was happening that it was impossible to feel bored. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie. Any comic book fan will surely enjoy this and smile.

They have portrayed moon knight in such a way that is so cool yet stays true to his roots. I absolutely love it. I'm excited for what's to come because I think it will be beautiful.

The Batman (2022)

Beautiful Cinematic Masterpiece

This was a beautiful movie experience that left me in awe. The lighting and cinematography was gorgeous. The tone was perfect which kept me engaged through this world's greatest detective story. The acting was superb. Paul Dano was terrifying and is now one of the best comic book villains brought to the screen. To me, this is the best Batman film as well as the best comic book movie of all time.

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

For Autumn! Beautiful masterpiece by Zack Snyder in honor of his daughter! So wholesome, satisfying, and beautiful

Although it is 4 hours long, it's a beautiful and wonderful film by Zack Snyder that does not actually feel like 4 hours-actually goes by quickly. This was a million times better than the original release of justice league. I am so happy and proud that Zack Snyder got to create his true vision of the film to create this masterpiece. The film is full of emotion to create powerful memorable moments. There are some scenes in the film that are now some of the best scenes in the DCEU due to how well it was made. The tone and style are a lot more mature and it feels like some other Snyder films like "Watchmen. The cinematography and effects were beautiful to see. Of course Snyder's camera work was phenomenal as it always was. And the addition of new scenes and dialogue was an amazing choice as it provided excellent moments and more clarity while making the audience pleased. Overall I think this was an amazing, phenomenal, and creative masterpiece that showed how the film was intended to be with many elements of beauty, emotion, and with the intention to be a powerful and memorable film. Also may I point out that Snyder did not take any cut on this film because he just wanted to create the best film possible to complete his vision for his fans and for Autumn. His beloved daughter, Autumn, would be proud of you Zack. May she Rest In Peace!

WandaVision: Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience (2021) Season 1, Episode 1

Astonishing and beautiful experience

I was blown away by the first episode. Everything was made so well. It was so heartwarming and full of pure love and happiness. Also, if you appreciate the history of television and all of the eras of it and sitcoms you will definitely enjoy this experience.

WandaVision (2021)

One of the best and most creative things Marvel has ever done!

First off, DO NOT LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS! The people who gave it bad reviews either don't appreciate the beautiful tribute to the eras of sitcoms and television or they live underground where they don't understand or appreciate it. This show is so unique and creative that it absorbs us in this wonderful fantasy world that provides a heart-warming experience with a hint of something sinister to come. I am a big movie buff and I'm an extreme marvel fan and I truly believe this is one of the best things marvel has done. The acting, story, editing, the mystery, the humor, everything is so perfect. It really honors all eras of sitcoms and television in a beautiful way in this story full of pure love and happiness.

Soul (2020)

One of the most beautiful films I've ever seen

Wow. I am just blown away by this film. It moved me in such a way that it made he think hard about my life and everyone's lives. This movie made me cry at the end and I already saw that it made lots of others cry too. I think this is one of the best works that Pixar has done. It was so creative and beautiful made. Everyone did a wonderful job on this wonderful journey. I believe should see this movie and go on this beautiful journey that resembles our lives.

Extremely powerful and necessary

This was an amazing exercise. I believe everyone needs to see this. This was so powerful. We watched it in my class during my senior year and it made many students come to a realization about prejudice and racism.

This movie was great. It was entertaining and a lot of fun. Ewan Mcgregor has an amazing performance with some funny dialogue. He has the range to being charismatic and then becoming vicious with his character, Black Mask. Margot Robbie also gave an amazing performance. She's a brilliant actor who plays the role perfectly. The movie also had amazing choreography and fight scenes. This went well with a few of the songs from the soundtrack including "Barracuda" by Heart and "Black Betty" by Ram Jam. The one thing I thought they could improve was the costumes. I didn't like huntress' costume throughout the movie and black canary's could've been better. However, I did like the suits Black Mask wore. Overall I really enjoyed this movie and I recommend it.

Tarantino delivers an incredible movie with its own genre/style! He creates a perfect image of the 60s! Also has great acting from Leo, Brad, and Margot! I think it is better than pulp fiction now! Very fun film!!! Please go see this! You won't regret it!
