Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024– )
8/10
Not Mr. & Mrs. Smith, nonetheless, very entertaining
21 February 2024
Storyline wise this series could have done a better job, some things just don't add up if it were to happen in the real world. Nonetheless I had such a fun time watching this show. It shows how not all 'hitmen' (I guess we could call them that) act as mysterious and professional as James Bond, or Mr. And Mrs. Smith from the original movie. I think John/Michael was a very likeable character from the start, Jane/Alana did not really do it for me. Her personality was not likeable and every time John and Jane were in an argument I agreed with John which made their arguments less entertaining to watch. On the other hand, I loved the way this series got made. You can see there was a lot thought that went into the set and cinematography. Which is what made this series so worth it in my opinion.

why does everything happen the way it happens???
11 January 2024
We can say a lot about this movie. Starting with the cinematography. I love this vintage style of filmmaking, the abstract kind of way is not everyone's taste but i honestly loved it. Casting is insanely good. We have Jacob Elordi doing a phenomenal job at performing as the cool stylish likeable guy. And Barry Keoghan serving the ugly but hot, freak, but also freaky ;), kinda guy. Rosamund Pike delivering every line with the modesty and ladylike attitude she perseveres. Honestly it is what made this film somewhat good for me. What made me keep watching.... Because well, the storyline is completely unhinged. First we go for a call me by your name spinoff, then all of a sudden it is a Jacob Elordi thirst trap (which no one can be, and isn't, mad about), but then all of a sudden they want to switch to Oliver being a complete psychopath. Which, don't get me wrong, he was. But still.... Why? What is his motive for being like that. In the beginning he didn't know anything about Felix? I just can't wrap my head around it. Why everything happened the way it did? I still give this movie a decent rating just because of the cinematography and casting. The rest is totally not worth it, very weird, and just so confusing... I would say if you want a movie more disturbing watch Babylon,, if you want it more romantic watch Call me by your name. This just seems like a weird mix of the director having a midlife crisis while coming up with this movie....

Better Call Saul: Plan and Execution (2022)
Season 6, Episode 7
10/10
Fast paced and gut wrenching
14 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The only think I can say is just wow. From beginning to end this episode had me on the EDGE of my seat. This was the moment where my entire view changed. I was blindly following Saul & Kim's plan, curiously waiting for 'D-Day' not knowing how incredibly sad it was going to turn out.

And even if the plan fully worked out, and Howard would still be alive. The plan was such a cruel thing to execute. But his death was just an extra punch in the stomach.

You could say he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. But he was only there at the wrong time. He was exactly where he had to be. Expressing his feelings to Saul and Kim. Fully ranting about how bad Kim and Saul ruined his life, his firm and his partnerships. All because they were inpatient for the sandpiper settlement.

I've never liked Howard, but during the previous few episodes when the focus was more on him, my perspective changed. I noticed he was the only character actually seeking help and trying to better his life. In comparison to Saul who just shoved all his feelings away. Howard was owning up to his mistakes. And trying to get back out there. And then being sabotaged in the worst way possible... it's just so sad. No one believed Howard.... it was an incredibly sad episode that completely altered the way I view the show. Kim and Saul turned into the villains from the moment they were planning the sabotage. But I was just too late to notice the severity of it.... what a masterpiece.

Shameless (2011–2021)

A journey we get to ride along with.
20 June 2023
From beginning to end I created a connection with the characters. The way we really grow up with them and form a bond is just unreal. At the last episode I came to the realisation how big everyone has gotten during this series. The problems everyone had to face and how they overcame it. Every season had its characters, ups and downs en that's what I loved about it. The directors weren't scared to drag storylines or completely destroy what could have been good for a character. But that's how real life works. Of course, some things are a little unrealistic but who cares. I watched every episode back to back until season 9. When Fiona left I really had to get used to it. Just her vibrance, personality and chaotic life. I really missed it. Throughout the series Debbie got on my nerves more and more but I guess that's the point. About Frank, during the last season I was a little sad for him. But that didn't make up for the fact that we was a horrible person. Sometimes I felt really uncomfortable with the way he was treating his kids. It was so confronting I guess. At the end of the day this series really gave me comfort in a way. Just a reminder that there's always people that have more problems to face. I would recommend this series to everyone. The way it takes you along on it's journey and gives you the freedom to form your own connection and opinions on the characters. It's a perfect mix of comedy, drama and just a tad of sitcom vibes. The reality of it all. In most movies/series the protagonist lives in this big fancy house. But Shameless shows the reality of living in the South. Meeting ends, having two jobs, and in between definitely having no time to keep the house perfectly clean. They just live. And I think the beauty of it, is that we get to ride along with them.

Breaking Bad (2008–2013)
10/10
'The Heisenberg Effect'
28 May 2023
The only thing I can say is just wow. The character development in this series is just out of this world. I am a sucker for character development but breaking bad takes the crown. I can't even put words to how much I enjoyed this series. It had me on a tight grip from start to finish. I sometimes hear the words 'The Heisenberg Effect' which I think almost everyone who has watched the series can relate to. I was so captivated by his whole progression as a drug manufacturer that I looked past his progression as a person. It was only during the last season where things actually started getting out of hand that I came to the realisation. Just so incredibly sad and heartbreaking. Also for Jesse. I mean yes he was a junkie but at least he had people that loved him, I mean he loved himself I guess. It was the consequences of Walters, but also his, doings that made him lose everything he has ever loved. You just see two people addicted to making more money, playing more dangerous games. Ignoring the fact that to live up to that destroying everything they love. The cinematography of this series is what also did a lot for me. Considering it's quite a long series the cinematography doesn't get worse, it only gets better. I think Breaking Bad is one of the only series that gets better throughout. People might say season 1 is a little slow-paced. But it's hard to start from nothing, the more you watch the more info there is to go off of. So stop whining, get through the first season, because I promise you will not regret it!

The Last of Us: When We Are in Need (2023)
Season 1, Episode 8
9/10
Surviving Rage
6 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was out of this world. The whole time I could feel the ominous undertone from the preacher and whole 'resort' vibe. The way the bond between Ellie and Joel really evolves in this episode is probably what I love most. We see two hurting souls surviving and then finding each other at the end of the episode. The scene Ellie finally won the fight and just raged on was the best acting i've seen in a while. Then afterwards finding Joel, trying to explain the whole situation but just collapsing in his arms. THE CHEMISTRY!!!!!! Both Pedro and Bella just play these roles so well, so raw. No sugar coating or cute faces, it's all real which gives this series such a compelling and rooting experience. I'm very much looking forward to the next few episodes. The only thing I find a little odd is how Joel is basically still unconscious when Ellie leaves, then magically waking up and walking (correct me if i'm wrong) 4 miles to the ' resort'. But to be honest I don't mind because the episode was amazing!

Basicccccc.....
30 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I feel like every time I watch a movie with The Rock, i'm watching the same fxcking movie?!?! He is just not likeable in my opinion. The whole cross over made it a little better I guess, but it was still not interesting at all. So many things were unrealistic, like them literally escaping from Russian prison by stealing a helicopter?!?!?! And then dodging a giant freaking canon by opening the helicopter door so it goes right through it. I'm sorry but those things make me mad. Some jokes were funny but some were also very cringy. So I guess an okay movie to watch as a background something,. But don't expect your mind to be blown with amazing screenwriting, cinematography or acting. Sorry not sorry.

A cinematic organised chaos of a movie
30 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I had my doubts about this movie before I walked into the cinema, it's quite a long one and from reading the description I couldn't have seen myself being interested in a movie like this, especially for 3 hours.

As soon as the movie started tho, my perspective changed. The opening scene had a tight grip on me from beginning to end. The colour-way, cinematography and acting had such an ambient feeling to it. It felt so real and exciting.

The whole character development of Manny was amazing. I was really rooting for him because his passion for filmmaking was radiating. Margot Robbie definitely deserves an award. The way she acts is just mesmerising. Brad Pitt also did a fine job.

Gosh I don't even know where to start. Acting is phenomenal, casting is more than perfect, script is gorgeous and addicting, the sound track makes the movie feel even more ambient but the cinematography takes the crown tho.

Only downside I have is that in the last hour of the movie my focus got a bit lost. Sometimes I felt like the movie was done and then another scene popped up. Especially the endless drag of the whole bdsm bunker scene. It was making me really uncomfortable, which isn't a bad thing... for a couple minutes, but this was a bit long.

The ending was something else. It was kind of predictable but then the whole trippy compilation came and I am still thinking about it. Just so weird yet so fascinating. This is definitely a movie I'll have to watch again. And is most definitely a recommendation!

just another overhyped movie TikTok recommended
2 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This movie got a lot of hype on TikTok, but just like any movie that is going viral on TikTok, it was mid. There were good aspects about it, things that were perfectly good. But also aspects that were just so unbelievable. The good things were the way height was portrayed, I don't have a fear of heights but during this movie my palms got a little sweaty sometimes. I got a little feeling in my stomach and I think that was a good thing. The character development of Becky. We can really see how she's overcoming her fear, but on the other side, survival instinct kicks in so I guess everyone would fight for their lives. The most unbelievable parts in this movie was their super human strength. When Becky fell down, ain't no way Hunter saved her by quickly putting her 1 hand around the ROUND pole. I mean even if it was just Hunter falling down she couldn't have held on to the ROUND pole. I also thought there was no chemistry between Hunter and Becky, that's why it wasn't really a shocker for me that Hunter died, i was like well idc she wasn't likeable anyways. If there was an actual bond or friendship between the two well yes it would have been sad. Now she was just a girl her dead husband cheated on her with for 4 months. MID Movie, loved Grace Caroline Currey tho.

Chemistry between the two...
1 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is not just any other ordinary family drama movie. That is because at first, we don't go in too deep on the whole backstory, which I think works extremely well. That's why at first, I was rooting for Tom. We start out with him, he gets more screen time in the beginning, etc. The whole crowd, as well as us, the viewers has its preference on Tom. I was thinking, why this much hate to dad and Brandon. The longer I watched the more my preference switched to Brandon. Which almost feels like a fight in your head, like the fight between the brothers. I am not really the biggest boxing fan, but with this movie it felt quite realistic. It hink this movie doesn't get the love it deserves. So please, give it a go!

A masterpiece that's not to everyone's taste
1 January 2023
I really do understand that this masterpiece of a movie might not be everyone's taste. The cinematography is just outstanding. I think the way emotions are portrayed in this movie is just so weirdly accurate. With each shot you could see the thought behind it and I really respect that. Wes Anderson has his own way of making films and I think that that, quite frankly, is beautifully done. The cast is well put together, every character fits their role perfectly. I haven't even started about the script. Every line coming from M. Gustave's mouth is just breathtaking. The poetry and thoughts behind each line kept astonishing me. So overall the cinematography really gets the crown but that all balances the rest of the beautifully put together movie out.

rushed
2 May 2022
This whole plot just jumps from one thing to another. The actors are okay but not amazing. I really liked the first escape plan movie but this one was definitely not it. An hour into the movie and i still didn't get what the whole storyline was. Each character didn't get enough screentime to really bond with. Plus a whole lot of them looked like each other so after a while it was just one big fat blur. The script is cringe and cheesy. I really liked the bar fight scene but apart from that everything felt rushed and defintely not enjoyable. Which is sad because the location look awesome. Just a wasted opportunity in my opinion.

BoJack Horseman (2014–2020)
10/10
Truly dark, heartbreaking but honestly amazing
13 December 2021
I think this series really reflects life. It's obviously relatable for a lot of people, Bojack Horsemen discusses a lot of relatable aspects. The way this series portrays addiction, friendships and stigma's is just perfect. The execution of this series is amazing. There's not one episode i found completely useless. Every episode added something deep to the storyline. This is definitely not a kids series but more for an older audience. The series starts really ordinary sitcom but slowly changes to a more dark, realistic life. Where people make mistakes and bad decisions, and most important, regret life choices. Bojack is truly a misunderstood character because I don't even think he understands himself. He does (almost) everything with the right intensions but sometimes it comes od as bad. I'm not saying Bojack's behaviour is something to live by, since he's definitely not a good guy. But I am saying that his life is realistic. Not 'here's a broken person which life will completely change and end with a happy ending.' Bojack Horsemen is real... dark but real. Plus, this series has great life advice in it too. All the important side characters get a whole life story too. And I think that's what got me so attached to this series. The fact that we all build such a bond with the entire family and friends of the main character. This way we're not only sympathising with the main character but we're also looking out/caring for the side characters. And I think that's the beauty of it...

Very pretty
26 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I loved this movie. It's really realistically made. Minor inconveniences that happen in life such as dropping something or stuttering is all very well executed in this movie, normally the reality of a simple life and gets quite overwhelmed by the actual storyline, in this movie we got a good representation of a normal life with a magical twist. The characters are very well-made and get as much screen time as they deserve and need. In the beginning we don't know much about Totoro but as the movie continues we learn more about him and about his acts. I love how simple objects such as the umbrella or nut thingie were used by the characters and actually got meaning in this movie. The cinematography in these types of movies is normally not at its best, because it's hard to create a very pretty scene when you have to draw everything. But with basically all Studio Ghibli movies I loved the cinematography, the scene where Totora, Satsuki and Mei are waiting for the bus and we have this perfectly aligned and symmetrical shot with the bus stop sign, the two girls, and Totoro is just really pretty to look at.

Sophisticated, beautifully written and well produced.
8 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Although I don't know how to play chess this series is so sophisticated, beautifully written and well produced. Like really Scott Frank and Allan Scott outplayed themselves. The cinematography and script are perfectly bonded in with each other. Some of the actors didn't do it for me in the beginning but as the series moved on and I saw character development the cast started to work in on me and I started to like them better and better. Anya Taylor-Joy is obviously an amazing actress, she has impressed me so many times with movies like Split, Marrowbone and the VVitch. But let's talk about the storyline. At first we see Beth at a low point in her life she's an addict and an alcoholic and doesn't have her life the way she wants to be. I really love that in the beginning we get a sneak peek of something that does not happen in the end but sort of in the middle of the series. Normally if we do these flashback moments the director first shows something in the end and then starts from the beginning but with this series he starts in the middle and continues at the beginning which is kind of hard to understand if you didn't see it. We see how her addiction for the 'vitamin pills' starts and how it affects her later in her life. We see that no matter how fortunate or how famous you are nobody has their life the way you might think or the way they might show. We see a lot of downfalls in her career and relationships with family and friends. Through the series it kind of feels like everybody lets her down, only to prove the complete opposite in the last episode. Where everybody helps her out and we, as watchers, really scratch your head thinking 'They were really there for her the entire time but we just didn't see it.' As I always say character development is the most important thing in a movie or series. As with this series all I see is exactly that. We see how she goes from a shy orphan to an intimidating brave woman. And let's not forget that all of the side characters also have character development, we see how Beltik goes from a 'Loser' to someone who finds a job and goes to college again. We see how Jolene starts to go to law school and how she progresses in life. This way I don't feel like I'm just living in Beth's world watching this series. But I feel like I'm actually watching a STORYline of someone's life as it progresses, when they get older and have new experiences, dilemmas and opportunities. I've binged watched the series because I just couldn't get enough of it. Every side character got addressed in the end, and because of the way this series was written I kind of assumed that that would happen. I wasn't waiting for someone because I knew that they would come on screen and fill out all my questions. Like with Townes. He stayed away for a couple of episodes and I was rooting that he would come back which he obviously did in the last episode. Benny Watts and Harry Beltik were such good friends in the end. If only they were to show it a little earlier on in Beth's life she might have been able to beaten her addiction or other problems. But on the other side I also get their perspective, they shouldn't come around the corner every time Beth needs them. So to conclude my review, I loved every single second of the series. I love the cast, the storyline, the music, and most of all the cinematography and the way it connected with the beautifully written script.

Confidently written and perfectly executed!
25 November 2020
This movie has a 9/10 on IMDB which I totally agree with. The storyline is confidently written and perfectly executed. We all know Christopher Nolan is a director that has probably inspired a lot of people. Personally I think his movies are so well thought and deserve more than the recognition they already get. Nolan convinces me every time that cinematography in his movies are unbelievably executed. Like this one. And to comprehend that this movie came out in 2008.... The dynamics and graphics are out of this world. The actors are perfectly casted and I couldn't have thought of a better cast. Heath Leadger definitely deserves the crown even though he isn't here anymore to accept it. Morgan Freeman is doing his 'always in control' role like he always does, and I'm definitely not mad about it. Michael Caine is amazing and let's not forget Christian Bale. Normally with this many side stories/ sub plots I complain that there are loose ends, didn't take the screen time to play it all out. But with this movie that is absolutely not the case. Everything works out and in the end I'm really not sitting with any questions. Apart from Batman being inspired from a comic book I really liked the twist they gave the character. This way we really saw 'Batmans' personal live and saw CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!!! Jesus Christ character development is so important in a movie, at least for me. If this isn't the case people are just doing what they're already doing and keep doing that for the entire movie. Like 'All this to keep being the person you were once before?' We see how batman lives up to the quote 'You Either Die a Hero, or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become the Villain' in the end admits he 'Is the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now.' And I loved that. Overall I absolutely adored this movie, it fits in every lane of perfect filmmaking and it keeps me interested the whole movie. Great actors/casting, amazing cinematography and above all character development. Definitely recommend this movie go watch it kids!

okay i guess
24 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Good movie good plot but you see a lot of the stuff coming. I normally don't like the 'hey let's make a documentary about scary shit and hope it doesn't go wrong' but in this movie they kind of made it work so good for them. The actors were okay. Not the best but it was watchable. Fernanda Andrade was okay she wasn't my favourite tho, she was kind of okay with everything which I thought was weird, because there was literally someone possessed right in front of her. My favourite character was probably Simon Quarterman. He did alright and at least had some character development. The rest was just doing what they already did, with Father Ben we really saw what happened with his uncle etc. The only thing about Isabella that actually stayed with me was that she had an abortion. The ending absolutely SUCKS, it's such a good example of 'damn uhh we're out of budget so meh I guess we'll let the audience decide the ending.' BAM credits. The only two scenes that really stayed with me were when Father David shot himself and when he drowned the baby, lmao looks weird when i write it down. But anyway, that's basically everything you can say about this movie. The storyline could be really good but they didn't execute is the way I thought.

Atomic Blonde (2017)
7/10
more interesting in the beginning and simpler in the end
24 November 2020
This movie does its job to be a descent action movie. The storyline itself is quite ordinary but very well executed. In the end it was a bit confusing with the whole Perceval stuff. But with some thinking I think I got it. The main character Lorraine, Charlize Theron, could step on me. I'd say thank you very much but that's not the point. I loved that storyline was like 'I'm telling the story as if it already happened but while I'm telling the story it happens on screen' it's a thing that directors use sometimes but is hard to keep interesting. In movies by David Leitch the main character is, most of the time, someone we get to know throughly during the movie. I like this aspect a lot. Other movies by him that I really liked such as 'The Mechanic' and 'Escape Plan' all built up during one big thing in the end. With Atomic Blonde this chaos was going up and down in hills. We did have a climax but also smaller 'incidents' that made the role of the main character not go without scratches. I loved that the fighting scenes were real. No music, loads of grunting, small pauses from both sides to catch their breath etc. Sometimes I felt like these fighting scenes were a bit too long. The whole side story with Delphine didn't really do it for me. I get that there was supposed to be a side story or something to do with a significant other to keep it interesting. But Delphine didn't match Lorraine's lane at all. Lorraine was like this perfectly planned power woman that knew each and everyone better than they knew themselves. Every plan she set up worked out the way she had it in her head and she was so intimidating. Delphine on the other hand, was giving of vibes like she was kinda new to this all. She didn't work with the precision like Lorraine did and lived way to long in my opinion. Overall opinion is that they should've made the storyline a bit more interesting in the beginning and a bit simpler in the end. Great actors and overall a great movie by a great director!

Disturbing? Yes. Entertaining? No.
17 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Uhh, this movie has become a whole thing on TikTok so I had to watch it since im a big horror fan. The storyline itself gets exciting in the second half. The first half is super boring. Plus the acting didn't make it any better. In the second half Amber Perkins does get better with acting but it still wasn't good enough to keep me entertained. I get that it's supposed to spread awareness and not be entertaining but i don't really see the point of the first half anyway. I missed music and above all character development. Amy didn't have a lot of friends so she could've told everything to her parents. Amy's parents were only on screen in the beginning plus when she was missing. I felt like if her best friend went missing my mom would be really scared for me and not let me go outside to parks by myself, meanwhile Amy was chilling with her bear in the middle of nowhere. I mean, yes the two photos are disturbing. But they could've built the suspense up so much better, now it was just like 'yea idk and idc here are the photos take a free coupon while you're at it, oh also, dead body'. It was so platonic. So my opinion is: Bad acting, no cinematography, it does spread awareness I guess but I still hated the progression of the storyline. The three major 'trigger moments' were disturbing but could've been so much better executed.

Solid Storyline with many likeable characters
17 November 2020
Although this movie came out in 2015, i'd never heard of it. I had never seen a movie from Guy Ritchie but I was pleasantly surprised. I really liked the storyline. It was really clear and good to understand. The actors were really good. I mean the moment I saw that Armie Hammer played in this movie I kind of assumed the rest of the actors were also going to be good. Henry Cavill is such an intimidating actor that always seems to be in control. Armie Hammer is also a really intimidating actor. I loved that on one side they had amazing chemistry but on the other side they were so different from each other. Alicia Vikander is also an amazing actress. In this movie she seems like a side character bit mid-movie she reminds everyone she is so much more than that. The storyline itself is so well thought. I loved the beginning. Ritchie immediately draw the attention with the way of filmmaking he does. In the first few minutes he had me in the whole 60s England vibe. The cinematography of this movie is so unique, some shots were probably filmed with a drone of with a lot of special effects. The music was also really good. I loved the diversity of genres. We saw Action, Thriller, Detective stuff and Comedy. In movies it's hard to make me laugh but I really found jokes funny in this one. Overall: Great actors, amazing cinematography, solid and well produced storyline and just very well made!

Tenet (2020)

A masterpiece
27 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Wow, that is to be honest the only word that can describe this movie. I had heard so much about it, from the behind the scenes to all of the info about the actors, so when i went to the cinema i had high hopes. This movie started with immediate action, Nolan draws the attention to the viewer, which i love. Through the first half of the film Christopher Nolan just throws the viewers through the whole storyline. He decides when you get to understand stuff and when you cannot. It's only in the second half that things actually start to make sense, for a lot of people this is not an exciting way of filmmaking because you don't really know what's going on but i would simply say 'ignorance is our munition' because you know so little about the whole story in the beginning you're really getting on the edge of your seat. You couldn't possibly know what was going happen next. And i got the feeling that when The Protagonist fully understood it, so did I. John Washington did the most amazing job, just like Robert Pattinson. The way both of these actors played together was immaculate. I loved every second of the screen time they had together, the slight ominous feeling mixed with a little humour and a small doubt in trust for each other really did it for me. Kenneth Branagh's screenplay was also so good, he is such an amazing actor. Elizabeth Debicki was such a good character, she played her role really well, she was such an intimidating character until she was with her husband, then she would crawl up into this little ball al to protect her son. I could've not suspected anything else from Christopher Nolan but the cinematography was out of this world, the way of filming was so mesmerising, the long moving shots were so beautifully made. The way how the first half was so played in onto the second half was the best part for me personally. You'd look at all these loose ends at the beginning but didn't really pay attention to it because the storyline was so complex, you barely had any time to pay attention to anything else. You feel so stupid because in the second half it all starts to make sense. Him fighting with himself, him driving the car, him being hurt in his arm. Small details that made the movie so much better. I also loved the music, Nolan sometimes uses so little music and other times such barbaric tones, i personally love it. I notice that most of the time in Nolans films he barely uses any music in dramatic moments, such as fighting scenes or emotional ones. It's honestly so much different and i'm here for it. This movie is a masterpiece and i'd definitely watch it again!

Storyline

Warning: Spoilers
Because of all the good reviews i had heard about this series my expectations were really high. I'm Glad they got fulfilled though. I love the diversity of race, size, gender, sexuality etc. It's such a great series considering the time it is made in (2019), a time where you can express whoever you want to be. So I definitely loved that. For me when there are only blue-eyed blonde girls and white boys names Josh in a movie/serie i immediately like it a lot less. The storyline itself is a bit all over the place, sometimes i thought it got a bit too much. It's such a new thing that each side character also gets an entire backstory, the good thing was that each subplot was good/interesting enough to keep me excited but sometimes the subplots get me more excited then the main plot, for instance, I liked Kat's story a lot. Sometimes they add so many subplots that they don't have enough time in the end, but they did sort it all out in the end so it's not like they ran out of time. The 'main' storyline is obviously Rue. I love Zendaya and she did such an amazing job, really i wouldn't know anyone that could've done it better. I have such compassion for her mom and sister but in the end i was also like, yeah girl you deserve a line you've been through so much. this tells me that the more you're in in the presence of drugs the more normal it's going to seem. I didn't even know that Jacob Elordi could be such a great of an actor. He did so well and i felt intimidated through the SCREEN. Jules was to be honest such an amazing character, she really helped Rue get through all of her stuff. Faz was such an underrated character, he was there for Rue, helped his grandma and was just really misunderstood, he was a high-school dropout that just made friends with the wrong people and took the wrong path. The other thing that really stood out was the music and the cinematography the purple/pink/glitter was really doing it for all of the actors, and the music just fit every scene perfectly, Big credit to Labrinth. I also really loved the abstract ending you don't really know what happened but that keeps it exciting for if they're going to make a second season or not.

Finest Actors of em all
19 May 2020
This is such a grizzled dark movie, I loved the use of lighting throughout it, normally i hate it when basically the whole movie is black but because of the use of lighting is so unique i didn't mind. This really made me think of Split. Although you already got the point in split in the beginning in this movie they waited till the end. I've always had e weak spot for George Mackay and Charlie Heaton I also really like the acting of Anna Taylor-Joy. The storyline: it's actually so interesting i've always loved movies about schizophrenic people. The fact that it took me so long to realise it all... I also really liked the end even though it was quite complicated. The three climaxes of three different times blended in together made me sit on the edge of my seat. The whole storyline is just mind blowing and i would definitely watch this movie again even though i already know the plottwist by now.

Amazing (at basically) Everything!
19 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I mean by this time we all know Christopher Nolan is one the best at what he does. This movie moved me so much, form beginning to end i felt like i was part of the story, the acting was amazing, the actors all fitted their role perfectly and you could really see how much time went into the making of this movie. The whole thing about sandstorms might be boring but it added such an amazing grizzled finish to it. You could see the regret Murph had when Cooper actually left and she was still angry at him. And all these other emotions that tied in so well with each other. The whole aspect of 'time' has always been something Christopher Nolan is interested in, he translates time into words and video which makes it so beautiful to look at if that makes any sense. The shots in this movie were just amazing, all of them but especially the ones in space and on the other planets. Perfectly enough people died throughout the movie to keep me on the edge of my seat. I really loved how Murph was also helping Professor Brand, this made the subplot on earth also interesting. I wasn't bored when they went to the subplots because they were all equally interesting to watch, there weren't to many which i hate because then at the end they don't have enough time to address and finish all the the subplots it's just an amazing perfect movie. It might be long but i feel like it should be. The storyline was interesting enough for me to watch it till the end. And wow the end... I guess i should've known that he was the 'ghost' but i didn't and i don't know why? The end made me bail my eyes out. And it's been long since that happened from a movie. The only little thing i didn't really get was WHY he needed to go to space? If i were him i would not have gone with the little information he got. He didn't know how long he was going to be gone? He didn't know if the 'Aliens' (if i can call them that) were like an actual thing. But i'm glad he did because otherwise the movie would've been real boring! Conclusion: perfect movie perfect actors perfect screenplay and perfect cinematography. Amen!

Actors saved it
3 May 2020
This movie is so much different than honestly everything. I feel like it's a movie that not going to be understood they way it's supposed to because for me it didn't. The actors are obviously perfect, so many people you already knew mixed with a slight variation of people we didn't. When i watched this movie for me it took way to long to get interesting. the storyline didn't start and i was bored. The actors kept it sort of exciting. About half way through the storyline started. The whole cowboy western vibes aren't really my thing but i can live with it. I just feel like the whole Italian movie stuff was added for fun because afterwards i can't remember half of it. They should've sticked to the hippie vibes because that's the only thing that mattered in the end anyway, and i get that they need to add some sub-plots but this movie stuff was going on for half of the damn movie. Each time i was kind of waiting for all the Rick Dalton and Sharon Tate stuff to pass so I could watch the actual storyline. Brad Pitt obviously did amazing especially in the end. That's probably the scene i liked the most just because you actually knew what the frick was going on. Also the whole thing with Sharon Tate? Was it really necessary? it didn't add anything to the actual plot because when i watched it i thought maybe the two storylines will combine at the end? It didn't? So why did they add it? So my opinion, storyline isn't that great but because of the actors they still ended up with a good movie!
