Open Water 3: Cage Dive (2017)
Another hysterical dumb blond stereotype in a shark movie
Why do people insist on including this kind of character in movies? This is beyond annoying, it ruins the little fun a B shark movie can have, and is offensive to all women. Open water 2 was the same. Is that an American thing? We're in the 21st century, for God's sake! Rubbish.
Game of Thrones: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2019)
If anyone asks you what dramatic art is, the Knight of the Seven Kingdoms scene is your answer.
The scene of Brienne's knighting is one of the best I've seen in the entire series. It starts with Tyrion's funny sarcastic remarks in a light and enjoyable, and yet tense atmosphere. Then in just a few seconds the entire scene becomes deeply noble and full of emotion. All of the characters immediately put aside their drunkenness and silliness realizing the grandeur of what is about to happen. The camera zooming into Jamie's hand holding the sword and the growing emotion in Brienne's eyes are plain beauty. Yes, this is art. Period.
Sequestro Relâmpago (2018)
No good
Good premise, bad script.
Couldn't watch anymore after the girl manages to leave the car at a mall's parking lot and, instead of taking off to the mall screaming, she stops at a security guard and starts calling him named. Then she just goes back to the car! Bad bad bad.
The Devil Complex (2016)
Why?
Two huge holes in the story (apart from all the other small holes):
1 - Why didn't they just follow their own footprints back instead of going deeper into the forest?
2 - What was so horrible that the professor had to kill himself in the beginning? No explanation whatsoever.
Very bad film, very bad attempt of a Blair Witch Project in the snow, no scares, no suspense, nothing.
Positive: beautiful scenery
The Frozen (2012)
Silly and not original
The film starts well, nice setting, nice landscape. Could have been a really nice thriller with all the shadows behind the trees caught in the corner of the eye... The actors are OK. There are no great performances, but there is also no need for those in this type of movie. But after the nightmare where she wakes up in a nightgown, the film takes a dramatic turn for the worse. You start seeing zombies/ghosts (!), dead animals, etc. Ridiculous and almost childish. And the ending, which was supposed to be a very original never seen before twist is an old idea that was much better explored in The Others with Nicole Kidman. Weak, just weak.
