Skin Eating Jungle Vampires (2002)

If you are a fan of blood, boobs and stock footage. You will be in heaven.

Aliens crash land in a volcano in Costa Rica and are trapped. To escape they have to find a bride for there leader Mr Creepo.

What can I say about this. Well it is a cheapo exploitation movie. Have of which is stock footage of their trip to Costa Rica. Most of the dialogue is ADRed. The main actress really phones it in, no really some of her lines are recorded off of a phone call.

But you are not here for dialogue anyway. Your here for blood, gore and nudity. And this has plenty.

Not a bad watch but nothing all that great. Good for a laugh.

What can I say about this one. If you like lame comedy weak plot, cheesy soundtracks and ample amount of nudity you will love this.

Tommy is a misunderstood gal. She loves fixing cars being tough and racing. No one respects her for being herself they all want her to be more girly and get laid already.

These movies were a dime a dizen back in the 80's. To friends just having fun and getting in to trouble. There is a race and montages but really not much to say.

Great movie kept my interest and was never boring. Some really good stuff here. If you haven't seen it I would give it a watch.

Definitely a highlight in this box set so far.

About 4 robbers who rob and steal their way in Hong Kong until they move to Thailand and rob and steal there.

Quite a watchable action movie. It isn't boring and really no plot but things move along pretty well. Action is alright for This type of thing and acting is ok.

The real star of the show is the English dubbing. Man this is what makes watching these movies so much fun.

Definitely give it a watch if you got it. If you like mindless action movies you should enjoy it.

What makes this one noteworthy is that Chow Yun Fat is the lead in this one. There is some good action scenes in this one. But it drags near the end with the industry is poisoning the children sub plot. Chow Yun Fat is good in this one you can sort of see why he became famous. Even tho he doesn't have very much to work with.

Not much here. Vietnam vet becomes a hit man and blah blah blah stuff happens and people get killed. Some good stuff but not enough to watch it again.

If you need to see it give it a watch.

Shock (1946)

How can you say no to Vincent Price? Well made thriller from the 40's. Lady witnesses a murder and goes into shock. The Doctor set to help her is also the murderer.

For a movie made in the 1940's. It kept my interest. And Vincent Price is great as always.

Glad I checked this one out. You can do a lot worse than this.

Well to be honest at the start I was pretty excited. Man gets decapitated, stupid looking devil puppet and nudity right off the bat. But then it just drags. This is by no means a bad movie, it suffers from a fate worse then bad, it is boring and slow.

No much to say about this one typical satanic cult stuff. Devil is good blah blah blah eternal life blah blah blah. We need a virgin to sacrifice you know typical satanic ritual stuff.

Not the worst I have ever seen but not worth seeing again.

San mao liu lang ji (1980)

Orphans in it for the kicks.

A decent enough Kung fu movie. 3 orphans just trying to get by, end up involved in trying to stop a gangster.

Way better then it has any right to be. Kids and action movies rarely work. But this one manages just fine. The lead kid is outstanding and the fight scenes are very good. Everything is well choreographed and well filmed. The last fight is really well done lots of action and some well done stunts.

If you get the chance to watch this one and like Kung fu movies definitely check it out. Also goes by the title Kung Fu Kids Break Away.

Recommend for sure. You can do a whole lot worse.

Another great selection from the 200 drive cult classics from mill creek.

Pretty standard fare here. Woman moves to small town where her aunt lived and died. The town folk don't much care for her. And to make things worse a hearse is following her around. Not bad but not good. If you like mysteries and ghost stories you could do a lot worse.

Death Rage (1976)

Another selection from the 200 Drive in cult classics from those fine people over at Mill Creek.

Basic euro revenge mafia movie. Yul Brynner's last film. He play a hitman retired from the business but brought back in to kill the man who killed his brother. Decent enough movie nothing really stands out but very watchable. Worth a watch just for Mr. Brynner alone.

The Babysitter (1969)

Wasn't expecting much from this one. Figured it was going to be melodrama about older man falling for younger lady. But there is much more to this one. Blackmail, revenge and murder. Good explanation stuff here. I can totally dig it.

Pretty good movie. Good acting, good story. A new nurse is starting at a special metal hospital. But it turns out not all is what it seems. Definitely a recommend.

Another one of the ol Mill creek 200 drive I cult cinema box set ya hear. Not a bad movie at all. Decently acted and shot. And the story was pretty good probably would watch this again. Even the music was pretty good.

Tank Girl (1995)

Having been wanting to check this one out for awhile. Well today was the day July 2019. Heard a lot of hate for this movie. Well it isn't bad but very unfocused.

It feels like the director wanted to get in as much of the comic as possible. I have never read any of the comics so not really sure.

Has a great stylez. It feels like a comic, very well edited and the music is great.

I would give it a watch, definitely will be a cult movie someday.

Blood of Dracula's Castle (1969)

Yet another shlockfest on good ole Millcreek's 200 drive in cult cinema box set.

What is there to say. Mr and Mrs. Dracula kidnap young ladies for their blood. With the help on a butler, a psychopath and friendly old Mango.

Enter a photographer and his fiancé model who inherit the castle in which the vampires live.

Not much to get excited about here. The song at the beginning is catchy and it is well made but that is about all.

I didn't regret watching it.

Fleshburn (1984)

Reading the plot synopsis I was excited to watch this one.

Vietnam vet is sentenced by 4 psychiatrists to send the rest of his life in an asylum, for the crime he committed. He breaks out to get his revenge.

Great idea but doesn't quite pull through. He kidnaps them and makes them try to survive the harsh desert.

Lead is pretty great in this one but that is all. I found myself not cheering for anyone. As this one plods along.

Still I didn't feel like I wasted my time on this one. But probably will never watch or think about it again.

Another selection from the Mill Creek 200 cult cinema box set. And my first time watching a Hammer movie.

Usually I don't like vampire movies or gothic horror. But this surprised me. Not set in the normal boring castles of old England.

This one takes place in the 1970's. Count Dracula is back and he is getting into politics ... not really but sort of.

Interesting story. Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee are great. What more could you ask for. Definitely give it a look. If this is considered the lower end of Hammer maybe I need to check out some more.

Santee (1973)

Pretty good western about a bounty hunter who takes in the boy of the man he killed. Teaches him the ropes and becomes like a father to him.

I liked this, not to big on westerns but very well done. Glen Ford is great as Santee. All around good movie.

Your average 70's Kung fu flick. Not much fighting and the fighting you get is pretty standard. Not much to hold my interest. I can think of better ways to spend my time.

Wouldn't recommend unless you really need to watch a Kung Fu flick and this was your only choice.

Another one from the 200 cult movies box set from mill creek.

I guess if a unknown bacterial from mars breaks out on earth you should take speed, dance and screw. Maybe not in that particular order.

Very plodding movie it seems to drag on and on. But the last 20 minutes or so are pretty good. Not a recommendation but there are a lot worse out there.

Secret File: Hollywood (1962)

Got this movie in the Mill Creek 200 cult cinema box set. Wasn't expecting much and didn't get it either.

A tale of scandal, blackmail and murder. Down on his luck PI get involved in the scummy underworld of Hollywood dirt rags. But did he get in over his head?

Alright movie not great not horrible. I wouldn't run out to see it but kept my interest. If you have it might as well give it a look. There is a lot worse out there.
