I hope you'd agree...

Okay let me start by saying that this movie was good. I enjoyed myself and there wasn't a time where I almost fell asleep. There were some slow parts, but the movie was surprisingly exciting. The actors/actresses were questionable. For instance: Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane, absolutely terrible. I couldn't get into her character at all. Compared to Margot Kidder, Bosworth sucked. Kidder had this adventurous, absent minded, Superman sweeps me off my feet type attitude. While Bosworth was too serious and didn't have the same charisma that Kidder possessed. I know comparing these two is like night and day, but still she could have been a lot better.

As for Kevin Spacey, I take nothing away from the man, but for some reason I was just waiting for him to start walking with a limp. His voice was too Keyser Soze for me. He didn't have the comedic style Gene Hackman did. You didn't hear Spacey yelling "Miss Teschmacher!" Hackman was great when he did that. That's what I wanted. I didn't like the seriousness of the movie. It needed a little more light to it. I needed to smile a couple of times.

Brandon Routh played a fantastic Superman, he was absolutely great. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the upcoming movies. Over all I enjoyed this movie, just needed some fixes.

Warning: Spoilers
I guess this movie would have been a little better if common sense was used. The main character comes in counter with the prostitute when she's struck by a car. Okay that's fine and dandy but let's take her to a hospital for help. Not to the apartment when you think you can cure her. I have to be honest the plot of this movie could have been extremely better. I didn't like seeing him lay with a dead body in his apartment until her body is decaying. I mean no cops showed up because of the smell. It just seemed like a lame Romeo and Juliet story. I did like the fact that he decided to stick up for himself a little. But he didn't handle death very well. Which is common for most people who experience loved ones passing. She found a way out of prostitution but I don't think that was the way she expected. I honestly wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone.
