Family Star (2024)
Lots of cringe .. less of reason
God, why do people still make movies like this and why on earth does someone like Vijay Devarakonda or Mrinalini opt for boring cringe like this, I mean who are they trying to cater with this storyline.. simply no one.. Its really a pity that they wasted the talent of such star power and talent.. expected a good watch.. but turned out to be really moronic. Please avoid, just. Not worth it.
None of the aspects of the story is believable - the setting, the leads personality, his costume, the romance..every single lacks the charm and originality. This movie should be a anti-pattern for what you can get wrong.. really bad.. even the music is ordinary.
Hridayam (2022)
Highly overrated and cliched
Really disappointed this movie has a 8.4 rating on imdb, there is nothing new in this movie and and too lengthy. Music is definitely good. The performances are average, nothing that stands out. Also, there is the avoidable Tamil emotional masala added in for wooing the Tamil mass.
There have been far too many movies with the same theme, it is time they reimagine the story line.

Hidden Gem
Really Nice entertaining movie, really surprised why this is not popular. Nice dialogues, crisp direction and editing and really performances by all characters.
This movie really deserves much more popularity than it received.
Joji (2021)
Good watch, but overrated
The picturization is great, the background music is refreshing. The characters are shallow, without depth and conviction.
The depiction of lack of empathy for the kin was sterile and lacked emotion, more suited to western movies.....
Roohi (2021)
Huge disappointment!
Oh, what a let down. Was expecting something good like Sthree but is complete disaster. The performances of all 3 lead actors were well below par. Jahnvi didnt do well with her acting or her looks. There was hardly any comedy nor was there horror.
Bandish Bandits (2020)
Treat for Indian music lovers
Well crafted and beautiful renditions of hindustani music. Great locales and cinematography. Surprised by the negative critical reviews, its way better than most bollywood movies. Did dislike the constant use of expletives by some characters to look trendy and cool, which was a downer. The main leads have played their characters well and Naseerudin Shah and Atul Kulkarni as usual do stand apart. Definitely a good watch
The Death of Stalin (2017)
Looks more like spoof than a original
Little disappointed after watching almost 45 mins of the movie, could not manage to watch beyond that. All along it was silly humour and seemed more like a spoof of a original.
Thappad (2020)
Nice gripping storyline
A really good watch, did not expect it to be that good. The story line keeps you interested and there is never a dull moment. Tapsi really did well and deserves kudos for her performance. Really pricks you and makes you think
Veere Di Wedding (2018)
Very disappointing
Its such a drag, not a moment that is worth the watch and I could not manage beyond an hour. Real waste of time and talent.
