Godzilla Minus One (2023)

Wow!! Mind-blowing...with pun intended...

Loved this Godzilla movie. I am avid Gojira fan. But they did awesome job with this movie. No teaser at end of the credits.

A must see movie if you are a true GOJIRA fan or kaiju fan.

Great subtitled movie. I liked how they portrayed Godzilla and kept the movie true.

Great Godzilla design in the movie. Great cast. Great storyline.

Great all around Godzilla movie.

Not like the Terrible Roland Emrich Fraudzilla with Matthew Broderick. Which they took terrible liberties with the design and whole concept of Godzilla.

Hopefully we see more great movies to come in 2024 and beyond. And maybe Mothra will come back soon too.

Snow Monster (2019)

This movie was released as Snow Monster vs Ice Shark (DVD/North America)/$26.99. Ok monster movie. But not ENOUGH monsters. But we are teased at the end of more....but that still wasn't enough.

If you like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon you might like this more. It has a few fighting scenes right from that type of movie.... UNFORTUNATELY.

I did love the Snow Monster whacking one of the smaller Ice Sharks against a rock/mountain....repeatedly...lol Too much trying to put romance into a Monster movie too.

But the Snow Monster was wicked cool. Was the only cool thing in this movie. Needed MORE monster(s) less Disney type FLUFF in this movie. I got a DVD copy was $26.99. Wait till it's cheaper then buy it...lol.

This movie is part of the Tsuburaya/Ultraman franchise.

This movie is AKA Ultraman Cosmos vs Ultraman Justice "The Final Battle". We see where things left off. Finally getting the name of the other Ultraman. That being Ultraman Justice. But Justice isn't as friendly as we were to think. The Earth has 35 hours till its destruction. But as the movie progresses Ultraman Justice turns sides and helps Ultraman Cosmos.

This movie was good and comes after Ultraman Cosmos 2:The Blue Planet.

But I liked it. A true Ultraman fan would not mind adding this into their collection (as I have).

We see Mushashi get to be an Astronaut. Which he dreamed of being. He gets to planet Juran and well things aren't looking as he expected them to be. We see a new Ultraman here too. The next movie (Ultraman Cosmos vs Ultraman ??????) his name and real motive are revealed then. CLIFFHANGER...

This movie was decent/great after the Ultraman Cosmos series.

But I liked it. A true Ultraman fan would not mind adding this into their collection (as I have).

Ultraman Cosmos: The First Contact (2001)

We see where things started with Ultraman Cosmos. Many don't believe Musashi at 1st. Alien Baltan comes back as well. *An old monster from original Ultraman reintroduced here.

This movie was decent and was a good prelude.

I liked this entry. It might be better enjoyed by a younger audience.

But I liked it. A true Ultraman fan would not mind adding this into their collection (as I have).

Ultraman Cosmos (2001–2002)

A gentler Ultraman...most of the time.

This series is part of the Tsuburaya/Ultraman franchise

The team group is called Eyes (Elite Young Expert Squadron). With a group called SRC (Scientific Research Circle). They have the proverbial team headquarters.

Some of the equipment is.. TECCH Thunder (Jet) TECCH Shephard (car) TECCH Diver (undersea) TECCH Driver (special tank) TECCH Spinnar (jet/spaceship) TECCH Booster (big jet/spaceship) This series is on 7 discs at 65 episodes).

This Ultraman is a gentler Ultraman.

Trying to be more gentle but defeating the monster if need be. Trying to help capture a monster and bring it to a reserve.

Chaos Header controls some of the monsters and a few do make it to the reserve to live peaceably. Away from civilians.

There are other groups or teams in this series too.. JADF =Japanese Air Defense Force Monster Extinction Team

But I liked it. A true Ultraman fan would not mind adding this into their collection (as I have).

Ultraman Neos (2000–2001)

Short series (12 episodes) ...but a good one!

This series is part of the Tsuburaya/Ultraman franchise.

The series is short in length (12 episodes).

The team group is called Team Heart (High-Tech Earth Alert & Rescue Team). They have the gear and equipment as per MOST teams in the series.

One vehicle is aptly called Heart Beater (as per team name). Other vehicles called Winner 1 & 2, as well as Python.

Ultra Seven is Called Seven 21 ( as per being a 21st century hero).

But I liked it. A true Ultraman fan would not mind adding this into their collection (as I have).

Ultraman Zearth 2 (1997)

Decent movie....

The movie is short in length but that did NOT bother me.

There are cameos of cast/characters from previous Ultraman series.

Be warned this is a comedic take on Ultrama.

The hero in this story tries to muster up courage to do battle/fight the bad guys.

He enrolls in a dojo to train.

The team group is called Mydo (Mysterious Yonder Defense Organization). They have the proverbial team headquarters and equipment too.

There is a capsule monster too. I liked the capsule monster. It looked weak at first but was able to do a good job. The villain that Ultraman Zearth must defeat is a cyborg.

I liked this entry. It might be better enjoyed by a younger audience.

But I liked it. A true Ultraman fan would not mind adding this into their collection (as I have).

Urutoraman Zeasu (1996)

Short series. Kinda a weird series to watch. Is better than Ultraseven X though.

If your a fan of Ultraverse/Ultraman you will want to watch it. 12 episodes.

Ultraseven X (2007)

Almost like Neo Ultra Q. Is a short series. But was lacking seeing Ultraman. He wasn't really in the episodes much. I wasn't a fan of this series. I felt like I was watching a soap opera. Worth watching if your a Ultraverse/Ultraman fan. But wasn't great viewing. In my opinion.

Ultraman Mebius (2006–2007)

Must watch...

This series in the Ultraverse is one of the better ones. I liked the addition of Hikari (the 1st blue Ultraman). A must see. Was a good series. New and old monsters...plus a few genetically modified monsters by the good guys.

Ultraman: Tiga (1996–1997)

Great Ultraman Series

Another great Ultraman series.

New monsters. The GUTS team and GUTS vehicles. TPC is also in this series as well.

Lots of very awesome point of view (POV) shots in many episodes. From many different camera angles.

Also one kinda physcadellic episode. Filmed in a certain way.

This series is great for young and old.

Highly recommended if you are a fan of Ultraman.and Kaiju.

Ultraman 80 (1980–1981)

Good lessons learned...

Very good series for Adults and children alike. Cool series. I actually kept humming the theme song many times after watching this series.

Great quality and must have in any Ultraman collection.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020–2021)

Was like a fart in the wind...

Was ok. But needed more Zombies. And less 90210 character development....was a big disappointment to me.

Be better if you had more zombies involved. The story was good but needed more ACTION.

Ultraman Leo (1974–1975)

Very good movie. It has some of the original score (from Toho's ORIGINAL Godzilla movies). If you love the original Toho Godzilla movies this movie will NOT dissapoint you.

This movie will have ANY kaiju fan on the edge of their seat... this movie is worthy of watching multiple times.

I liked this movie but wish we could have been teased a wee bit more with close-ups of the other MINOR kaiju in this good flick(trillion times better than Fraudzilla/Roland Emrich debacle). I can't wait till Godzilla vs King Kong due out in 2020 (HOPEFULLY). Thumbs up from me!
